Took the survey. I'm not a huge fan of the numeric rating scale, but I gave it my best shot.
What sort of scale would you prefer?

Huge number of undecided on which is the better game - wonder if that's because they like/dislike them both or cause they are so different?
Possibly it's just that we've had DA:O & DLC & Expansions for years now, and DA2 just for a month or so. For the people who lurk around here and replay a lot (which I suspect are strongly correlated), it's hard to say which is better until there's been some time for DA2 to settle in.

It's too generic a question I think. Both games have their strengths and weaknesses, and opinions may differ about some elements being superior in one while still prefering how something is done in the other.

I decided to use that last text box to discuss the different strengths and weaknesses of Origins and Dragon Age 2 and do more of a comparison than an overall franchise review. While it was easy for me to decide that I really do like Origins better than its sequel I still think that Dragon Age 2 is an excellent game in many aspects and that it has a number of improvements on Origins, despite being weaker in some ways. Just saying "I like Origins better" doesn't really satisfy me as I've probably spent more than 120 hours on Dragon Age 2 - which doesn't happen to me with games that are simply average.Rheia wrote...

Thanks for putting time and effort to this survey. I hope my answers can help you in some way.
There were some difficult to answer questions tho'. I usually end up with romancing Alistair but as it's done via mods I picked Zevran.
Also entered double answers on some places (like Fenris/Merrill as I use them equally or Morrigan/Flemeth as favorite DA character as one was a companion other is NPC).
Anyway I hope it helps.

Maybe keep it open for at least a week? I've been avoiding this forum until I beat the game (just beat it last night), so I didn't see it until now.
Yep will do - seems a nice even time period to use. 232 surveys completed and climbing
