Okay, I just logged on to check my order at Amazon.ca because I'm paranoid that it might not go through for some reason, and now it's giving me the message that I should "Sign up to be notified when the product becomes available". WTF? Did they run out of preorders or something?

For reference, here is the page I'm talking about:

Before this came up it showed the standard: "This item has not yet been released. Pre-Order today!" message.
I really hope the Internet didn't eat my order.

Well, I did order it three weeks ago, so I'm assuming they're setting aside a copy for me, right? Right?!

This happened to me before. It might just mean that they don't have any more available for pre-orders, but you're actually OK if you've already ordered a copy for yourself. Might write them an email just to be sure, but I'm pretty sure that it's all it is.

They should have, check your recent orders. Doesn't Amazon.ca have a bar telling you bought the item you're looking at?

That just means they sold out. You should be fine.

Okay, I just checked my account, and the order's still there. I guess they just ran out of pre-orders, then. The Xbox 360 CE is also showing the same message.

Don't mind me, I'm just being paranoid...

I hoard boxes. I used to have a really big pile of game boxes until my mother decided that they were taking up too much space...

Now I have to start my box collection all over again...

Yeah, Amazon can be tricky sometimes. I pre-ordered DA:O when it first came available only to have them cancel my pre-order because they changed the release date. I had to re-pre-order it!
