I finally got hold of MotB and SoZ, installed them and updated them.
Everything seems fine, except that the castin gsounds of my female cleric has been replaced by some childish sounding girl-voice, saying things like "Bonaparte" and other odd things.... old as the original sounds were, they were, IMO, a lot better than these new ones.
Is there a way to revert to the old sounds, I wonder? Thanks in advance.
Casting sounds.

Are you sure it's not the same voice set? Different actions mean different sounds (i.e. you hear that "Bonaparte" (I've always found it funny BTW) only when casting spells, right?), but you can't hear every single sound when creating the character.

Perhaps try the MOTB revert pack.
No idea if that does it, but it sounds like it.
I'll try that.
Edit: And it worked.

They may have added them to the voiceset. In the original game, just like in NWN, the casting sounds were not connected to the voiceset. It was uniform casting sounds, only divided into male and female. I just don't se the connction between the voiceset of my character, and those casting sounds. I like the voiceset I have chosen, while the casting makes me cringe. Different taste, I suppose.
