Why do you think people actually care about witcher 2?
Because number 1 was a good game.

Someone who is not a comedian trying to be funny fails miserably, nothing new here.
Someone who got all the Bioware games in existence linked to his account blindly defends Bioware against all ods, nothing new here.

Except for the fact that, you know, it got better reviews than DA2 and was made by some unknown developper all the way in Poland with 1/10th of the budget.
Is it cool living in that ivory tower of yours friend?

I certainly didn't say that.
Imo
DAO>Witcher>>>>>>>>>>DA2
I have high hopes that witcher 2 will be better than DAO, I had same hopes for DA2 though. But thats just because I didn't follow DA2 development.

If he is dissing DA2...then we should laugh because The Witcher sucked Satan's balls. Seriously that game was bad. Seriously, this witch offers her body to you and the excuse is so lame.
Witch: "How can I prove that I'm not guilty to you? Oh, let's have sex"
Geralt: "Kay. I believe you now."
Dialogue was terrible.
Geralt: "I don't believe you. *10 second pause*. Someone killed my boyfriend...who? You?"
Oh and let's not start about gameplay...
For all its flaws, DA2 still beats The Witcher. The Witcher had terrible combat, storyline, quests, dialogue, voice acting and all the women in it were ****s. Plus we play as elephant man's (God take his soul) great great grandfather.

that's cool, i know DAO has always been favored more than the witcher, was just saying i liked TW more, i liked the lore and quests a lot, dialogue wasn't as eloquent as bioware but was sometimes more satisfying, and i loved how the really changed things a lot more per your choices than DAO
my personal prediction for me: TW2 > TW1 > DAO > DA2

Unlike DA2 which was a massive step backwards from Origins the Witcher 2 is taking leaps and bounds forwards. If you didn't like the original you will most likely like the sequel. And if you did like the Original then you'll love the sequel.
I liked Origins a little bit more then the Witcher, but if The Witcher 2 is as good as it looks I may like it even more then Origins.

Sorry, I thought you were being sarcastic or something.
And yeah there were lots of great things in witcher, I especially loved those reasonable vampire ladies and autopsy quest.
Really only thing I didn't like in it that much was combat, luckily it got lots of other stuff in it too unlike some other game I might mention here (DA2, in case it isn't clear to someone <_<)

DA2 didnt have other things? The party banter was top notch for one. Dog no longer taking up a party spot. Quite a few heart wrenching moments (this is my opinion of course). It's flawed, but it's not TERRIBLE.

Some of the quests in DA2 were done very well so i don't think that is a fair comparison.

yeah the combat left something to be desired, i spent most of the game just "click + click + click" *change to group* *cast igni* "click + click + click + click + click" *change to strong* *cast aard* "click + click + click" *changed to fast* *cast igni* "click + click + click" etc. etc. not to mention that stupid chapter 1 boss that is impossible to beat if you don't have aard upgraded to stun
tw2 looks both simplified and easier to use but also gives us a chance to do use more powers and attack styles

Every quest involved going somewhere and killing bunch of dudes, perhaps spiders.

Yeah, but the game didn't really give you a break from combat.
DA2 could have used a lot more non-combat quests.

Oh come on, you cant say Aveline's quest in Act 2 wasnt hilarious. Yes it involved killing stuff, but that wasnt the actual focus of it.

Not all of them, remember the ghost quest and some other similar quests, some of them were very well done.

3-Quite a few heart wrenching moments (this is my opinion of course).
1-It was alright, not quite as good as Origins though.
2 - fixed with a mod in Origins that did the exact same thing. Dog Whistle
3- again Origins had more. The death's of your family might've been more
heart wrenching if I knew them/ it wasn't forced and you had a chance
to save them. If I could save them and failed I would've been sad.
Since they die no matter what it's just frustrating
