That said. Do i have to collect 10 flowers for a nudey card in The Witcher 2 just like i could in the first?

I heard they streamlined it. You just press these glowing heart icons and the women ( ... and men ) will spread their legs automatically because you're just that damn irresistible. No real work involved.

... Oh wait, that was Dragon Age II. What were we talking about again?

Mature games for mature gamers, such as myself.

Isn't DA2 the same thing? blood gore and sex?

Clicking the mouse or 1-5 keys is all the same to me.

Clicking 1-5 = Five buttons

Clicking left mouse = One button

I like your logic of how they're the same though

You actually collected the cards? Interesting.

Here's how my 2 playthroughs in The Witcher when

1st playthrough:

>Get to 2nd town
>Collect 10 flowers for porn
>Uninstall.exe

2nd playthrough:

>At end of the first level
>Geralt: "Triss, you've been unconcious for hours, i had to make a potion to help you recover.. And your friend... Is dead.. I'm sorry"
>Triss: "Oh ok. Hey wanna f***?!?"
>Geralt: "DERP, SURE!"

Uninstall.exe

Trolling isn't going to encourage Bioware to do better.
If anything, you're just proving to be an idiot and going out of your way of a
unprofessional lifestyle that is incapable of just discussing the issue with the game.

All this idiocy will only encourage more idiots to troll and bash a game
that some people happen to like. No wonder Bioware are only locking topics instead
of discussing it with you people.

When has CDprojekt EVER been professional?

They're a 3rd rate polish hipster developer

You can't possibly be that stupid.. please reread what I wrote.

You didn't specify who was trolling who, genius

"Trolling isn't going to encourage Bioware to do better."

As in general it isn't professional. It's not some kind of complex mathestic sentence.
It doesn't need to be specific. Geez, what are they teaching these kids in school. (sigh)

I'm so confused here, but that game in the Video sounds very lame lol. As for the witcher I love that its freaking awesome in my opinion. Have not played the 2nd one yet though. I'm being a Jew and waiting for its price to drop on steam or for a sale.

I thought combat was The Witcher's lowpoint, but you have to admit, clicking one button with timing requires more thought than clicking 5 buttons again and again at leisure.

>Strategically using spell and abilities that best suits the battle field
>Clicking a button at the right time

And you think option B required more brain power

I bet you think Minecraft is deep and intellectual

Ah so you never played the game past the demo.

Congratulations.

Perhaps the word "concentration" would be better in this context, though I do agree with you, combat was a little more interesting in the witcher because timing was required.

Oh boy, is this one of those games where you have to put in 50 hours before it's fun? It's like I'm really playing an MMO!

Tell you what, when CDprojekt lets me play for free untill i reach the fun part, then i might give them a chance

Untill then, they can shove their mediocre game up their polish ass

It worries me that we have to look to Poland to find a development studio that seem to honestly and publicly enjoy what they're doing without taking themselves super seriously.

Would buy game if I could upgrade my mandolin to a flute/harp/fiddle.

Confession here. I liked the sex cards. At any rate, they exhibited more finesse than the underwear sex in DA:O, and were mainly tounge-in-cheek pin up art. They were nothing to be taken too seriously.

It's not really directed to Bioware.

It's more of a comment abou the RPG genre in the current industry. I love how this thread quickly derailed into a Witcher 2 / DAII.

It's just a April fools mock game video of their upcoming Witcher 2 Assassins of Kings aka Saviour of Queens. Its not a DA2 mock up. In the fake dev diary they give away a bust of a female, a mock of the bust of the protoganist that comes with the collectors edition.

Beats playing a game which never gets to the point and instead opts to send you on unimportant side errands all the way up to the overwhelmingly disappointing conclusion, wouldn't you say?

Well here, I'll be more specific for kids like you to be able to comprehend what I mean.
"In general, trolling isn't goint to get you anywhere. It isn't professional."

I do hope you know what "In general" means or do I have to explain that too?

What are sex cards ? Not like those "macho" cards you had to collect in ShadowHearts:Covenant ? Those were seriously disturbing. Got to be one of the most unique ways ever to power up a character.
Jochaim cracked me up though, they way he would just pull off a bit of scenery to use as his new weapon.

In all honesty, I bought The Witcher: EE specifically because I saw this vid:

However, I thought The Witcher 1 was just "boring." I felt no real motivation to play, except for wanting to get caught up before The Witcher 2 releases. Still, I don't really want to finish it.

On the other hand, I prefer the way Bioware has told their stories, regardless of whether or not they are better.

That being said, I can appreciate the delayed-consequences morality system in The Witcher, and it certainly made me think at times.

I could have spent 1/60th the time on google and found better ****** material, rather then spend 30 minutes picking f***ing flowers

Yeah, a "badass" monster hunter is trying to find a sociopathic mage, and what does he do? Pick flowers of course

Can't say I did. I did however collect all those Enigma messages and all I got was a crappy achievement. Sounds like you got the better end of the bargain.

Very useful too. You know you don't have to pick flowers right? and what did you expect to see i wonder? It sounds like you wanted more than you got. tsk tsk.
