I'm glad this patch is coming out, however it's a little late. The constant freezing caused my Blu-Ray disc reader to become corrupted and now I'm out $99 to replace my ps3. I enjoyed the half of the game I got to play regardless of the freezing, but good-bye PS3 for a few weeks. Oh well.

Hope this is released asap - I found no limit to the amount of bugs within the game. (playing on a ps3) and I know it isn't restricted to it. Seems like the game couldve been released at least a couple months later to avoid the massive amount of problems.

Not trying to troll or anything, there's just a LOT of game and story breaking bugs and glitches.

If I may make any form of request -- can the textures be enhanced for the console players too? some of the equipment literally looks like pudding.

This is awful.  I cannot play without it freezing at pretty much any important part with dialog.

And those of you defending EA are suckers...  you paid full price for something that cannot be played.
It has been out for over 4 weeks now, with these issues.  EA without a doubt were aware of alot of these problems before release.  And if not..how do they stay in business...oh, because they are so easily forgiven for stealing?

And the Uncle Sam Bull*&t run around, of when the patch will be released is a joke.  It is excuse after excuse..delay after delay...most of us would lose our jobs, if we pulled a stunt like this.

I am not a beta tester, and I have not been properly paid by EA/Bioware to do as such.

Man up folks, because the high paid executives rolling around in your already spent cash are in new cars, boats and airplanes while most of us are in a depression...using the little bit of funds we have to buy something that is a flat out lie.  This is a finger in the face...and there has been no recompense for anyone..except for-Hold on, you are going to have to wait..

Thanks for taking so long....and thanks for screwing me...and the rest of your loyal base.

<_<

PS3-Dragon Age 2- Rogue_ Act 2 or Champion(Arishock defeated) IN battle Mode Hawke moves in slow motion when attacking. Have 3 separate files with same problem.ONe filoe is so bad Hawke is useless. To me it's big bug. Having hard time to finish game. Anybody else with same problem? If I don't get this fixed, I'll never buy a game from RA or Bioware!!!!

I traditionally hold off on buying games for *at least* six months to give them time to shake the bugs out. (And to let the price come down.) The only two games I made an exception for and bought Day 1 were Mass Effect 2 (PS3 version) and Dragon Age 2.

Sigh.

Guess I'll never make *that* mistake again.

My initial thoughts hearing the announcements were "Wow, da2 took a lot less time than me2 to become a sequel,"
I felt it might have been rushed. Should have gone with the gut.

Regardless, if these bugs aren't fixed soon, I will have no reason to buy another game from this franchise. I defended this thing and now I feel like I'm eating my words. Don't like to be one of the jerks hating on this, but it just seems so wrong. I was expecting a completed game. What I got was the bug-equivalent of a random free mmo.

Sweet, I'll pick up a used copy once the patch comes out.

I already returned my game to Amazon for a full refund.

I've been waiting to try out Rogue and Warior caracters where I don't have to mash X.

Hopefully this upcoming patch works out better then the patch they just did for the PS3 version of ME2, i am beginning to lose my faith in Bioware, waiting for patches was one of the main reasons I stopped playing PC games, now I have the joy of going through that for consoles now, yay.

I wish we could be compensated for not being able to play the game for a month upon release... :( A patch while it may be considered compensation, it isn't it's just a fix. Compensation should be added on top of the fix. I reckon free DLC for everyone who has had the game for over 3 weeks or something. Doubt that would ever happen though sadly.

I agree with this, Is it such a big deal to throw us a sorry for yet again having a game full of glitches....

free DLC, free item or anythng? Instead we get attitude for being customers complaining about buying a useless product.

FREE DLC!!!!!!!

You do realize that the liklihood of ME3 being this buggy is pretty close to 0 right?  DA2 wasnt in developement until after Origins' release.  Where as ME3 has been in developement since BEFORE ME2s release.  While I understand your concern to some extent, it is also baseless.  Dont worry so much ME3 will be sweet as hell.

I can wade through a bug here and there, but one that renders the game unplayable in the last act after hours and hours of working through quests? It looks like my biggest "bonus content" I got for paying the extra bucks up front is a FEROCIOUS BUG that kills the game. I don't think I ever been this irritated.

and we'll be waiting 'till the day of release. I'm not expecting anymore words from bioware until then.

Still waitin' on that patch! Unless it's in certification. I hope so. Unless it failed certification. In which case: Still waitin' on that patch!

I saw this in the PC forum--he says 'first partys' [sic], which seems to imply certifications for the various platforms. But honestly, I can't tell if he's essentially just speaking about the PC patch or a patch for all of us. They seem to get a lot of info. and prompt replies over in the PC patch forum (and in the PC forums in general), unlike us. I have to say, I feel almost second-class being a console user on BSN.
I cut-and-pasted these updates because I couldn't use the 'quote' function in the PC forum. Anyway, for what it is or isn't worth:

As for the patch, it's out of our hands now so it all depends how quickly the 1st partys certify it. That said, based on my experience with such processes, I would say while it's *possible* that you could see it this week, next week is much more likely (and I'm 95% sure it won't be over the weekend)

and also...

I'm actually checking every few hours to see if it's out yet just in case (though I suspect someone on BSN will know and post about it before me somehow /images/forum/emoticons/wondering.png
