And for everyone who keeps saying that BioWare doesn't care, you can quit with the hysterics. Yes, it's annoying. Yes, it's not fair. Well, at least they're doing something about it. If they didn't care, they wouldn't bother.

If your opinion is: "Bioware cares because they are working on the patch", that's fine, it's your point of view. Other people like myself have an opinion of our own: "we paid for a fully functional game, so it SHOULD bloody work". A game that becomes un-playable due to a bug is outrageous (and when your character is so slow that he/she cannot finish one single-freaking-spell per battle, that IS un-playable).

Let's not fool ourselves. To have too many people unhappy with a game, up to the point of returning it even before it's finished, it's bad business. It's bad business because it means less people for future dlc (which are VERY profitable), so it's in THEIR best interest to iron the bugs (bugs that shouldn't have been there to begin with).

I don't think it's "hysterics" demanding that you get what you paid for. I will however call "hysterics" the action of posting anti-semitic rants like the chap who posted before you (what the hell?). That is totally uncalled for.

Agreed on your last point. However, hysterics is an absolutely valid description for what I've seen here. People complained. BioWare listened. Unfortunately, this is the real world and things don't happen magically when someone snaps their fingers. I'm sure there are people within BioWare who wish that were the case, that way they'd be able to appease those who are upset with them. But the constant -- CONSTANT -- ranting that people are doing in damn near every thread is overkill.

I'm not saying people don't have the right to be mad. I'd be mad, too, if it had happened to me! But the point is that people who say BioWare doesn't care are either completely naiive or they just want to be wrong. Once again, BioWare would never have patched the game if they didn't care. If the complaints were "BioWare really screwed up with this game," I would agree when it comes to the QA portion of it (and to be honest, the QA listings in the credits really made me shake my head when it was obvious just how many people missed this bug). But I would disagree on every other aspect. That IS opinion, admittedly.

Bottom line: BioWare cares.

is there anyway I can reset my character to his normal attack speed without Isabela? I don't want carry Anders around everywhere just so he can cast Haste.
