100 fixes? It's almost on par with Fallout: New Vegas with their 200 fixes on a patch. This game should been pushed back a month for proper testing.

While I'm glad there is a patch coming, 100 fixes is ridiculous. Next time, work on the game for at least two years, please.

Doesn't work that way. A 1 year game gets 200 features, a 2 year game gets 400. No one adds time for QA.

Heck, I wonder how many bugs are being "fixed" like auto-attack merely by sending the game that should have been printed in the first place.

Great news. I haven't played DAII in 3 weeks because of all the bugs... I thought Origins had noteworthy bugs, but I was horribly mistaken. Bioware has set a new record for themselves in terms of how many bugs DAII has, and oh btw Dragon Age Origins developing time: 2004-2009, Dragon age 2 2009-2011. Does that say anything to you guys...

Anyway I'm extremely disappointed with Bioware. They are my favorite devs and a let down like this is really a shame. They better make the next DLC free or something to make up for this BS!!! Here is to hoping Mass Effect 3 wont make the same mistakes!!

Why is it that this kind of comprehensive patch was never delivered on DA:O? It only fixed few things, when the game had ten times more problems than the sequel. I know 100% it will not happen, but can we get one more patch for origins that is COMPREHENSIVE like this?  I don't even expect bioware to fix everything at least 90% of the glitches should be sorted out............I really want to do a replay of it, yet I don't want to deal with bugs.

Wow. 100 fixes. That is... alot of bugs. I don't recall coming across a tenth of that many problems, I guess I could of just not noticed. But man that's a lot of problems. I just hope they fix the freaking import bugs, that's really the only thing keeping me from playing it.

I would rather wait to get a quality game then get a rushed sequel in less than two years after the first game. Take your time with your future games.

Having MAJOR disk unreadable issues???? And yes I have tried other games without a problem...this is CRAZY. I have never had so many issues with a game just freezing and making me restart my xbox. I dont understand why this is occurring. It seems to be getting worse as well. It almost seems as tho my disc is being scratched by the xbox...but only THIS game. Very odd.

The "100 fixes" seems large, but it would count all instances of certain bugs, for example if there was a problem with the delivery quest format itself that would require 20 fixes.

At this point I don't trust you, or believe what you say, and as a consumer I feel that some sort of compensation is due to your fan base. I have purchased almost every game this company has published all the way back to Baldur's Gate and forgave the bad experience with Dragon Age Origins but a repeated performance on the next release is just unforgivable. The thing that bothers me the most about this is the fact that I shouldn't expect a response to this post. Let alone any kind of compensation from BioWare/Ea for this terrible experience.

Sounds like a faulty disc there alright,if you have you'e receipt you should be able to get a replacement and get them to try the disc in shop.I remember with disc 4 of ''Lost Odyssey'' I had a nightmare with that,I install all my games anyway but it took me 5 attempts to get it onto the hard drive even though the disc looked perfect.Try and and install and if that fails do a good clean and then try and install again and if that fails back to the store:)

Very nice to hear.
So far I only had problems with the last couple of side quests.

I have started a new game as a warrior but put it on hold, just because I want to do those quests to.
When the patch comes out I'll probably remake my warrior just to be on the safe side. (I'm only like half an hour into the game...)

Except, you know, for the industery leader, Blizzard. And Valve. Companies that care about their reuptation polish before release.

Anyway, I'll belive it when I see it, I've heard promises about auto attack being in before and those turned out to be lies. Thanks for at least giveing us sone information.

I agree but I doubt the timescale for games is up to the Bioware team themselves considering they are owned by EA.

Now, if only this was all done before you released this pile of nappy filling in the first place...

I do have to thank you though BioWare for releasing this shoddy piece of software, because due to me having to wait to use the £40 i spent, i went into my collection of games and finally started playing The Last Remnant. You may have heard of it, it is a game produced by a developer going by the name of Square-Enix - a company that can release a working game.

It isn't actually half bad either.

P.S. Does installing the game to the console do anything more than speed up loading times? I did it for Oblivion but didn't see much of an improvement.

It speeds up everything a bit. Installing both of the Mass Effect games, there is a notable difference in load times. Since installing my copy of DA2 to my HD, the load times are a bit quicker. Nothing that will blow you away, but if you've got the space it doesn't hurt.

On top of loading times, probably the main reason I do it is how much quieter your 360 is when playing off the HD.

And it's good to see an update on the patch, looking forward to it.

Thank you for the update. I'm looking forward to my 2nd playthrough now that auto attack is being patched in :) Can't wait for the other fixes too.
