This is the most honest thing i have ever written about a game. I
am drunk when i post this. I freely admit that. And so i feel it only fair to
warn you. I am an honest drunk. So now for the truth.

I love Dragon Age II. Against it i have heard many complaints,

that the story is less epic than origins. Maybe. But i don't give a damn. The
story of Hawke, the Champion of Kirkwall is a personal journey, one Man/Woman
who changes Kirkwall forever. The story is enhanced by its personal nature. (The
loss of Leandra still makes me cry even on my 6th run-through) and that makes
the game far more enjoyable than the generic fantasy kill the evil thing story
of origins.

That the party characters are not as good. Bollocks! Isabella, Varric, Avaline,
and for that matter every other character have more excellent lines than every
origins character put together (and that’s just in the party banter). Yes i
miss my allies from origins somewhat, but those who stand by Hawke are at least
as good as those who stood by the Warden.

That the combat is now too fast paced. S*D OFF! The new combat system hits with
a punch that origins lacked every hit feels like it connects with the enemy
combatant, and more importantly kills the b*****d dead. To those who complain
about the combat system. GET A LIFE.

That Act three lacks polish. Again maybe. But the final villain (no spoilers)
is far more interesting than the Archdeamon of DA I and stands on its own as a
GREAT gaming villain.

To those who understand as i do, that DAII is an excellent game, (perhaps
lacking a fine polish that an extra month or two of development would have
brought) and i would recommend anyone to buy it. Nothing more nothing less.

Frankly the rise to power is F**king awesome.

I used to play PSN Watchmen games while drunk... And consider them masterpieces.
As for DA2, I can't really play such game drunk... But I actually agree about it being awesome. Enjoyed it a lot.
However, best keep it to yourself, or Bioware will get all lazy and such... I'd better complain some more, maybe next time they'll make boss fights fun too...

I think you have "beer goggles" on if you think this game is good, no offense. Most of your points are laughable at best.

This review must be a joke. No one could honestly think that this game is very good.

I'm sober, I think the game is very good. I played it three times already. If that qualify me as "low standard" by random people I don't care to know.....why should I care, I enjoyed the game, I have more than 100 hours of fun play time, that's all that matters to me.

In fact, this entire "if you like DA2, you must have low standard" argument sounds very "emperor's new clothes" to me.

and those people usually are nicer to be around potive attitude intresting opinion about the plot of the game they investigate for detail and help eacother out to understand more about the game rather then bictky people and not only they actually enjoy game more most probabily and last but not least didnt waste 50$$

I wonder who is better the whiner that wasted 50$$ is gramphy to be around and only enjoy hearing the annoying whine of other player like him or....

I am sure if a person that like the game make a critique is far more spot on then a whiner and i bet developer would rather listen a critique by someone that actually enjoyed the game then from a doom-sayer

Well I have now sobered up and I stand by every point I made.
