Seriously though. First time I've ever seen a game do this, and I really cant understand WHY anyone would think it would be a good idea. Maybe back in the old Wolfenstein days, or Doom even, maybe then the same old places could be reused to have new fun...but in 2011?!?! By BIOWARE?!?! ACK!
Just finished DA:2 and the only word I can think of to sum the whole thing up is, fail. I LOVED DA:1 even the expansion, but DA:2 is just fail. I admit, I have always been a huge Bioware Fan, and everyone is allowed a second chance. So, there you have it, notice given. Proceed with the next project as "second chance." Now, if the next release is fail also, I can come here and yell at ya for it and I wont feel badly about it
Parts of the game were a blast, the loot stunk. I just dont feel like I'm in an RPG if I cant dress my own party members with the gear I want them to have. Even the gear the main charcter got felt pre-arranged (which, it was). This game really just felt to me like there was never really any choice, not in what you wore, not in where you went, not with what you did, not even with what order you did things in. It just felt like I was a poodle at the circus and jumping through hoops in a pre-arranged order until completion.
Anyways, usually, I love your work. I've been there since the beginning. The thing that makes me the saddest, is that I had to use the word "usually" for the first time in regards to you guys today.
