Same here. Besides, different people have reported different issues. I'm happy Bioware is making an effort to address them all.

Pretty much. Over a hundred in just the 1st patch alone means they shipped a game with way over 100 bugs. Pitiful.

no matter what game it is, single player or otherwise, this type of response ALWAYS shows up with the 1st big patch. Its rather funny.

Actually, no. Every game receives patches like this. Because not everyone experiences the same bugs (Configuration differences etc.) and they are patching 4 platforms. I'm very happy that they're trying to fix as many of the reported bugs as possible. (Even though I only encountered 3. None of which were game breaking and I had none of the friendship bugs happening either)

Bull. Not every game has over 100 bugs to fix right off the bat, and certainly not all of them have bugs as crippling and glaring as the ones in this game. I dont know who you're trying to fool, but just stop.

Their games have tons of bugs. Tons. Always. I think they have a quota where the number of bugs has to be within a certain range of the total word count.
What remains to be seen is if the upcoming patch will be the last or more likely second-to-last patch. History tells us that it will (just like it tells us all the DLC will be pretty awful), but I guess you can always hope that maybe post-release support will actually improve this time.

You've never played a Bethseda or Jowood game, have you? And sorry to repeat the obvious but: Different PC configurations often cause different bugs that aren't happening to everybody. And they are patching 4 platforms. I haven't experienced a single crippling or game breaking bug in 4 playthroughs. (I'm on my 5th) I did experience several in DAO though, DAO would be unplayable to me without Mod fixes these days. (Dialogue fixes esp.)

yes, I'd say most games probably do have around the same number. not all of those games ever get patches at all (Alpha Protocol for example, a great game but has a lot of bugs and Sega insist it's not cost efficient to fix them)
ideally we'd all love there to be no bugs at all on release but realistically there's always something that slips through even the most thorough of testing. and given how rushed the development was I'd expect the testing was rushed too. so yes, having bugs is bad, but please don't complain about them actually fixing them. most of us actually like it when our complaints are addressed and fixed

Yes, they need to patch for 4 platforms . . .but isn't this just a PC patch?
Or was there a 360 patch I haven't gotten yet?

I wish that Bioware would spend more time testing their products before release and not using the consumers as guinea pigs. It was one thing for Origins to have it's share of bugs, but every dlc released afterwards was full of them, and DA2 as well. It's almost funny coming to the forums here after a new game or dlc is released from Bioware and seeing the forum flooded with people running into bugs.

According to Chris P's post, it's a multi platform patch coming up. (How would they add the Console Auto Attack feature to a PC patch?)

I have [played pretty much all Bethesda games and a couple JoWood games (I dont like JoWood games at all not the Gothics not Two Worlds none of em just not my cup of tea)
But let me bold your statement
"Every game receives patches like this."
Blatant lie. Just because New Vegas, which was an Obsidion game btw, did does not EVERY GAME make. And no JoWood game had this many bugs. So try that crap with some fool who doesnt know better, maybe you'll fool them. I doubt it though.

Let's see, shall we? "The Guild". Gothic Series. All Jowood games that had many more bugs than DA2 ever did. That's a fact. How do I know? I've played them all and am a registered member on their forums.
Keep moaning that Bioware is actually fixing what gamers told them went wrong. That is just SO productive.<_<
