So Morrigan arrives in the 16th century, steals Soul Edge from Darth Vader, travels back and gives it to Meredith.

All makes sense now.

The song starts pretty cooly with the violin-part... but after that it's just...

I ponder if we will see Morrigan vs. Flemeth in DA3. Would be interesting if Flemeth would be one of your companions this time around and the Morrigan would be "villain".

It leads to DA20 with 20 times more Nerd Rage and 1/20 the metacritic score of DA2.

If they lead to a place beyond the fade, how could a (not to mention bound) demon use it?

nothing in the mortal realm or in the fade can go beyond the realms that are inhabitable.

It leads somewhere in the mortal realm obviously!

It goes...

It leads to the Perfect, the home of the maker's 3rd set of children, who have no capability for change and cannot alter the world around them. Also, the perfect is never changing and nothing ever moves. Because its perfect already.

I was going for something thematically opposite of the Fade, so that there would be a spectrum of realms, Fade->Mortal plane->"Perfect" (i should clarify that i'm using the verb, to perfect).

I guess the denizens of the Perfect (yay nounverbs) would be supremely creative since the fade denizens aren't, and the mortal realm has some creativity. I don't know if/what would compell a Perfect entity to be interested in the mortal plane. It would probably be better if we are to them like demons/spirits are to us. So that we make deals with them to experience Perfection while they accept these deals in return for... I don't know, our malleability? Something anyway. One of those fancy-pants Bioware writers can come up with something I'm sure.
