When you submit a file, how long does it take for it to be approved or not. I submited a module (My Steam Pirates Prelude Beta) last night. I'm not panicing and demanding it to hurry up, I'm just wondering how long exactly do you think it will take.

It can take anywhere from a couple of hours (I had it happen once) to a couple of days (depending on the schedule of the folks at the Vault, BeyondThePale in particular I think).

at least 48 hours, and since you are now into a weekend, I would probably give them until late sometime Monday before even worrying about it.
