As much as I listen to Black and Death Metal everyday, I don't mind Manson but I do think the actual song fits the tempo of the Trailers. :-)

I like Manson. Not nearly as much as the goth tweens, but I'm a fan of a bit of his earlier work. But I really think if you're going to put metal in a fantasy game, go with folk metal. At least it's fitting.

More of a Power/Viking kind of guy. I didn't mind it, though. It seemed fitting enough. Not a Manson fan. Never have been.

Strange you are comenting on this post since you probably have comented on the other sixtyfive million posts about  metall music, it can only mean that you care and had to say something.

Thats why we create topics. And quite honestly I havent seen any topics of this lately so it was due to make one, peps are still replying so I guess there must be alot of new folks here.

Meh, didn't even know it was Manson. Just thought it was some random generic pseudo-metal playing in the background but now that I think about it I guess I should have guessed it was Manson based on that

There are 2 songs (I like 'I am the one' the best of them) there. Not samples, as Bioware has on their site, but the full. It's not going to be dull or anything, it's lovely.

I thought the riff from "The New Sh*t" was a great hook. To be honest I never got 1/4 way through NWN because the sound put me to sleep. I'm serious about that. It was so glum and dreary that I got bored due to the sound. I love more upbeat combat music and strongly support the influence of multi-media on game play.
