 Hi,

I'm just wondering if anyone could help me move the character I just created on my laptop with character creator to my desktop where I'll be playing DAO.  I'm not sure which files to copy. and where to put them.

Aren't there save game files in your documents/bioware folder? I thought I saw that last night when I fiddled about with respec mods. I reckon your achievements are tied to your online profile so I don't think there's a big deal doing it.

I created this character on my laptop without DAO, just the character creator

My files were stored in My Documents -> Bioware -> Dragon Age -> Pre release characters.



Then you should have four files you need to copy:



[char name] .chr

[char name]_portrait png file

[char name] jpeg file

[char name] xml file



Copy those four files, then save them to the directory on your main pc, which should be:



My documents -> Bioware -> Dragon Age -> Characters - [char name]folder



That's what i did and it worked fine
