did anyone else feel like merrill's story line with the mirror was incomplete?? i feel like it's one of the more interesting companion stories but it seems like it just ends abruptly. am i missing something?

Think this might be in the wrong forum but I agree her storyline was kind of a let down. Funny thing is at the beginning of the final act, I had no idea the mirror was destroyed. Don't remember hearing anything about it happening.

Hmm. I too did not realize it was destroyed. I just figured she gave up on it after the keeper/clan incident. Leaving me feeling it was lame. I was hoping Morrigan would pop out of it or something.

Currently, her story/quest order is bugged. So you'll get the conclusion to her story way before you finish her quest line. You may not notice it at the time, but when you get to the end there is no chance to talk to her about what happened. So it feels incomplete.

Yes, when we get the cutscene of her sobbing over the Keeper's death in Act 3, that's the bug. A really bad one, too, as there are many outcomes.

Hah, another bug? That explains why it's confusing.
So we could probably just go with the theory that Morrigan jumped put of the mirror, mugged Merrill then escaped the alienage after destroying the mirror? Bioware owes us writing credits now.

Hmm, we go to the future to see Merrill sobbing, then back in time to finish the quest. The mirror is actually a time machine.

Ahh okay. I just finished that quest last night. Now the interaction at the beginning of Act 3 makes more sense. I think at the time I said something like, "you couldn't have saved them." Seems a bit hollow now, since we literally cut through her entire clan like a hot knife through butter (hard mode)...

After best served cold, the quest activates right though (The ending scene won't activate anymore though but chance is you already saw it anyway )

Here's hoping 1.02 fixes it...

I'm looking at the Merrill in the mirror
I'm asking her to change her ways

Coming from Michael, that means nothing.
