I've recently purchased Dragon Age: Origins, after completing Dragon Age II twice. Don't ask me why I bought them in that order, as I am unaware. Anyway, On one of the paper things you get behind the instruction manual, there's a code or two to get free downloadable content (Mine so happens to be for the Stone Prisoner or something like that) Well, I've attempted to enter the code, more than three times and I'm certain that I've entered it correrctly. I'm not going to say the code, for obvious reasons. But could someone tell me why this code isn't working? (The game is NOT pre-owned) Could it be possible for me to enter the code and for it to work? Also, I got the Blood Dragon Armour code, I entered that and that was fine, so I'm not sure what the problem could be.

Please reply with any methods or theory's why this problem occoured and how to fix this problem (If I can)

Thank you.

Well...I'm pretty nifty at theorising and waffling....

Originally the codes had an expiry date. It stands to reason that if you try to redeem the codes after the expiry date, then you will not get anything. As I understand it, they were rather lax about this and people could redeem for a while afterwards. I don't know about re-released editions though.

Actual advice (if you want it, you may ignore if you so wish):

Check your registered game promotions to see if the dlc shows on your account.

Are you getting some sort of error message after entering the code? If so, what is the precise message?

Contact EA to explain your situation with appropriate proof of purchase and request a new (working) code.

It says "This code is invalid, please look at your code and try again"
There must be an expiary date. I'll try contacting EA. What proof do I need exactly?

To me the message suggests that it could be an input error; though I trust you are entering the code similarly to how you redeemed the Blood Dragon armour. I could also ask where you are trying to redeem: that is to say, are you redeeming via the website here or ingame? It shouldn't matter.

I suspect proof of purchase of a new copy to be honest. Otherwise anybody who bought a secondhand copy could just contact EA and get the dlc without buying a new copy (and defeat the point of their current dlc plans as it were).

The expiry date, if there is one, is on the back of the case. At least that was true of the original UK release.
