Is it more of it if you play on "very high" graphics or something (I noticed in DA:O for instance certain facial features and details were missing if you played on low settings)? I play on medium and thought that might have something to do with it. Seriously, the character designers at bioware must never have seen a human with a hairy chest in real life . I had more chesthair than Varric when I was 16 for crying out loud.
Anyway, was just wondering if anyone else picked up on the relative lack of fur on Varrics chest. Normally I wouldn't have payed it any heed, it wasn't until I saw it referenced for the second time or something in some dialogue that it irked me.
So, discussion topic: Varrics chesthair. Go!
Does dwarves have less body hair then humans in the world of thedas? Their facial hair would suggest the opposite but wouldn't that if so make Varric extraordinarily babyskinned for a dwarf?
Did his body shed chesthair in an evolutionary dwarven defense mechanism to protect from the heat of the sun on the surface of thedas?!
