Windows update ****ed me!
Hi! I have played through my first playthough as a Mage. 3 times the game froze, all while loading a different area.
Not that big a deal. Now I yesterday did a windows update which installed new video drivers. Today I start a new game as rogue and even with reinstalling video drivers, rebooting several times, installing additional drivers and putting my video settings to the lowest setting possible the game freezes somewhere in the intro. It may be during the selection of the character, the darkspawn cutscene or the fight itself. The game still works though and after about 100 minutes it should maybe show all of what I wanted to see/resume the gameplay.... But that is something I don;t wanna do.

So what can I do to fix this? I wanna play as a rogue this time but no such luck. I have no clue if it really was the windows update, but It might be. Windows 7, Nvidia GTS 250 FYI. But has anyone a suggestion?

Try downloading and installing the latest beta drivers from nVidia which should be "GeForce/ION Driver v270.51".
