Dont play Assassins Creed games, I dare you! :P

They probably annoy real conspiracy theorists:  "No, no, no.  They've got it all WRONG! And why isn't there more about 9/11 being an inside job? Lame."

@OP: What? Are you an Illuminati bigot? Illuminati are people too! Just like you! They can use their symbols just like Christians can use the cross and Kentucky Fried Chicken uses the sacred image of the Colonel. I stand with all Illuminati and say Illuminati symbols should be right there in the public square with the Nativity Scene on Christmas!

Im sure I'll get labeled all kinds of crazy and flamed to hell but this has been nagging me for awhile now.
Illuminatti symbols are everywhere in your games. Example number one,Mass Effect....go to the C-sec traffic control room walk up the pyramid shaped steps and voila at the top is a computer display in the shape of a huge eye.
Banners throughout the citadel have upside down pentagrams...WTH.  Mass Effect 2 on Ilium, the huge eye on display on the trading floor. The prothean pyramids, the statue of nimrod in Samara's mission, and most recently Arrival. In the room with the reaper artifact a huge friggin rotating eye right in the center of the room. Bioware what is the deal?In Dragon Age the chantry symbol is the Eye and the sun...talk about blatant.
There are more examples but you get the point.I enjoy Bioware games, hell I've played Mass Effect 1 and 2 so much I think I need help, but since I've started doing research into the illuminati, seeing all these symbols in your games disturbs me.

Who gives a ****? Just play the damn game and enjoy the aura of mystery surrounding the ME series.

I actually find Illuminati symbolism fascinating. Whats your problem with them? You must be another (stupid) American religious nutjob.

Yo dude...F....U. No need to insult me or my nationality. And for the record Im not religious at all. Im just making an observation. I just love the internet, a place where you can insult another individual without fear of reprisal.

Tinfoil hats, ... pfft. You guys are n00bs. Only armadillo hats provide effective shielding from brain-screening waves and such!

Tinfoil hats are just fake methods employed by none other than the agencies themselves to wager their victims in false feelings of security.

"Illuminati symbolism" exists in a lot of places because... *gasp* they're common symbols. The pyramid alone (both structure and symbol) is common to many early cultures because it is a relatively simple concept to grasp in early architecture. Bioware isn't going to reach so far as to use symbolism that the audience wouldn't recognize (even though it is supposed to be alien).

Well, that and geometry is geometry, be ye human or Prothean, and pyramids are just plain an obvious and stable way to build stuff.  I, mean, look at all the leftover skyscrapers on Feros: same basic deal.  That and I'm sure it was a bit of a nod to the all the "Ace spaliens builted teh pyramids!" stuff that's still in wide circulation.

Then if you love the Internet, you should also respect the rights of others to insult you without ramficiation.

So sit back and bask in your ignorance while the rest of the forum laughs their asses of at you.

Exactly. Thinking that the Illuminati are the primary association for any of the symbols the OP listed is ridiculous. He thinks it's a big deal because he's into the Illuminati. But almost everyone else does not associate a pyramid or an eye or a pentagon with the Illuminati. They associate them with the more common connections of those symbols.

Basically, to the OP: just because your fringe interpretation of certain symbols points to something, the Bioware people are probably like the majority of the population and associate those symbols with the mre common interpretations. You make the mistake of thinking that your perspective is shared by everyone else.

This is old news. The Grey Wardens from DA are an allusion to Knights Templar (the real ones). It's everywhere in the media. Get used to it. Bioware's been doing it for a while now. Do I give a s***? Not really. I assume if you're playing so called RPGs then you shouldn't really worry about subtle propaganda.

It was, obviously, put in in order to distract you from the real Illuminati symbols around you. It's a red herring, used to conceal the real Illuminati.

I don't even see how you could interpret it as subtle propaganda. No message is being sent unless you are already a tinfoil hat wearing conspiracy theorist who thinks those are Illuminati symbols. The vast majority of people will be completely unaffected. I was under the impression that propaganda was supposed to affect people.

So Bioware/EA is part of the Illuminati now. Considering I was accused of being part of them when I worked for AOL I should email them if they've got their secret decoder eyeball rings since I never got mine.

I'm a member of the illuminati and I find this trend disturbing. I mean nobody uses christianity to symbolize morally repugnant things like the Citadel Council. Bioware is just like the rest of the bigots who pick on we Illuminati the enlightened few!

Is this image photoshop'd? If not, where does this appear in the game? I've never seen it.
