So, I just went to Sundermount to release Flemeth from her amulet. I talked to the keeper, and than remembered I forgot to pick up my goodies from DLC and whatnot. I returned home, and when I got back to sundermount I've found Merrill lying crumpled on the ground where you meet her, quite obviously dead. I can also no longer go forward with the quest.
Just a warning, also, it's kind of sad to see her all dead from neglect.
Dead Merril!?!

You mean can't go forward like it's bugged because she died, or this was intended and another way to handle things that we didn't know about?

The barrier to the grave yard can't be opened, so, yea it's bugged because she died. I might create another character to see if I can do it again. As for a screen shot, I can't I'm playing it on PS3.

I just went back to a previous save that was ten minutes back, it was no big deal. I just thought it was kind of amusing. Wish I was able to get a image.

happened to me my first playthrough, just go back to a previous save and make sure you get to merrill before she gets her ass beat by skeletons... should fix it.
