Excluding Varric (because, obvious)... Fenris. He's a little "lanky" for my taste, as Isabela puts it, but I think he's the best looking male character in both games.

I second this.  He's not the most handsome, and he  doesn't have Sebastian's classic good looks, but he's got a very open and caring face that I find awfully attractive.  And the scruffiness helps.

There's also Lady Whatshername who promises to show up to support you against Meredith if you do couple side-quests for her and defend her from the templars, but in the end never did. My Hawke was heartbroken, she seemed exactly like the type his mother would want him to marry.
