If you haven't preordered, EA Store is still taking orders for all Collector Editions except PS3. Best Buy has also quit taking pre-orders on the CE editions, glad I got my order in a week ago (kinda late I know).

BTW, I don't think anyone who ordered from best buy the 360 or PS3 version will actually get it. I was given the impression from a rep that those orders will most likely not be fulfilled and may just get put on back order after release. Not sure if he was accurate but it caused me to not go with them.

Seeing as how the website lists them as available for pick-up on the 3rd I highly doubt that.

Yeah, I placed a backup order with Best Buy for the CE edition in case EA somehow screws it up. Hopefully one of them will come through.

The Collectors editions aren't available from the Best Buy website. They're labeled as coming soon. When I've purchased from Best Buy in the past if that's marked on a new release item they either burned through their inventory or they actually don't have the item and was simply put up on their site. The 360 and PS3 versions of the Collectors Edition never had the full sku's data posted on the site... that's usually a warning sign. If you pre-ordered the PC edition you should be ok though.

They were available on Best Buy up until the last day or two though, but yeah, who knows whether they'll have it or not.

The game was originally going to ship in March for the PC only. There was a CE available in Feb.

I preorder the 360 CE from Best Buy about a month ago, but I got that feeling too. I kept Dragon Age at the top of my Gamefly queue so if Best Buy says that the CE's aren't available and offer the standard one I'll just wait a day for Gamefly to send it and then immediately click the keep it button.

I hope BB doesn't screw me out of the CE... I only ordered it from them because I had $50 in gift certs. The only unusual thing was no store pickup was available at the time I ordered, which as 10/12...

Yeah, I have Gamefly as my backup but it's on my Gamefly queue just in case I don't get my EA Store copy quickly enough.

I sure hope my retailer is not messing around with the pre orders. He let me down once. I am tempted to cancel and order on Impulse, but... I am just not that big a friend of Digital Distribution what with my 1mbit line.

IMO I would never get a preorder CE from Best Buy. I had a bad experance with getting a CE. I pre-ordered Warhammer Online CE in March 08, WAR released in Oct 08. I went to pick up my pre-order the day it release and I was told by Best Buy store that Best Buy corp did not send enough CE to the store to cover the pre-orders. My brother brought the CE about a week after server launch off the shelfs in a best buy by him.
