Stone Prisoner, as soon as you leave Lothering and get to camp
The Warden's Keep - Whenever really
Return to Ostagar - Same, its fairly difficult but you could do it straight after Lothering
Darkspawn Chronicles - any time after
Leliana's Song - After doing Lel's personal quest, its totally seperate
Witch Hunt - After Origins, or Awakening, don't think it really ruins anything
Golems of Amgarrak - After Awakening, simply because its very difficult and you need to be awesome to do it on anything but normal.
I played them all after 1 and a half run thoughs of Origins, still haven't done Awakening as i'm finishing my final playthrough before Awakening and DA2

Chronologically, Leliana's Song is before the events of Dragon Age Origins.

Witch Hunt is best done last, after Awakening and Golems of Amgarrak due to how savegame flags are recorded. If you want to import all of your decisions into DA II.

Return to Ostagar, it really depends. If you running it with Alistair, anytime at all. BUT this DLC plays fairly different if you take Loghain instead of Alistair... that's how I prefer to do it, actually.

Leliana's song is first. Warden's keep you can do when ever you want, Stone Prisoner you can also do when ever. Return to Ostagar, I'd recommend waiting until you have Wynne in your party and take her and Alistair or Loghain there. After Origins is completed, play Awakening, then Golems, then end it with Witch Hunt. After all that play DA2.

If you already have played the game, and know how it ends, but are getting the UE for the pc or whatever like me, you'll want to play Darkspawn Chroncicles, Lelianas song, golems and witch hunt as single playthroughs, in order to obtain the dlc items for the main game. Then play them again as your imported warden for the story.

Just a note, the DLC items are overpowered for low-leveled characters. I'd recommend using them once you hit 13 or so. I would also use them if you were to do the XP glitch near the beginning. I would only do the XP glitch on a second playthrough, though.

On a side-note, the XP glitch only works well for your character and Alistair, due to it being within the first 4 hours of the game. Instead of the characters having more attribute/skill/talent points, the game auto-levels them. I wanted to use Sten as a tank, to soak up damage. Frickin' game gave him 60 strength and 13 constitution at level 10. Constitution = Health. Pretty dang critical for a warrior.

Forum made it to where I couldn't see my post, so I posted this. Once this was posted, I saw my last post, rendering this one useless. Go figure, ami-rite?
