I just used maker's breath on my character and noticed that I still have the skills that i have removed giving me an additional 3 spell points.. can someone help how to undo this bug =(

Um, here's a simple solution: don't use the extra 3 spell points?

From what I've read you can't undo it once it's done. Apparently, and I could be wrong here, it is caused by saving after you have taken the potion and before you spend the new points.
Another cause could be that you have abilities turned on in your tactics while doing this. Turning off all your active tactics might work to prevent this as well.
The only way to fix it after the fact I think would involve editing your save game somehow, but that might mess up the save removing/adding skills outside of the game.
Again I'm sure there are other people around with a lot more knowledge on this subject than I am, I picked what I said up from other posts that I've read.
I had a similar bug, maybe it's the same one you have, but after using the potion, I found that I had free points spent into abilities that I couldn't get rid of. They showed up on my ability trees, but I couldn't use the abilities. However, my Hawke would use the abilities whenever I switched to micro-manage a party member, I'm guessing because those abilities were still in my Hawke tactics. I think I got this from the secondary cause I mentioned, or possibly a combo of the two.

If you play on the PC you can use the saveeditor to edit out the extra points. There is a way to avoid the bug and that is to respec at your house and deposit all your consumable items. Save the game, use the editor to take out the extra points. Load and distribute.
