So, I know there are a couple mods out there that supposedly make your whole family blonde and blue-eyed. Problem is, I've added so many skintones/presets/other stuff to the character creator, it doesn't properly recognize that I'm using a fair-skinned Hawke so I get the defaults for darker skintones, etc.

I can fix this somewhat because there are standalone mods to change Carver and Bethany, but none for the Amells.

I have a mod installed that has pre-determined Amell's so they don't even change anymore. Sad thing is, I don't even remember what it was that did this. I kind of miss my ugly family. It made me look fantastic! lol Just kidding. =) Maybe you have a similar mod? Or do you just want a new mod that lets them be blonde when you are?  (maybe I am confused)

If you find this out though, I would be happy to know as well. Without a toolset, it makes it difficult. *fingers crossed* I tell myself I must take after my blonde father when I pick that colour The lighter hair colours are fairly flat though I thought.... so I just kept the dark hair after a while. The hair textures aren't that fabulous imho. (vanilla ones that is)

Well, right now I'm using someone's "blonde bethany" and "handsome carver" mods because I can get them to be blond(e) always (I'll remove it most likely if I play a dark-haired character again).

Alas, I don't see one that includes the whole family that works for me.

There's this one which is dependent on skintone but as I said...I've added so many skintones ( Pineappletree) that it doesn't recognize the light skintones properly. And her dark skintones look SO much better than the default so...I don't want to remove it :< If you know of another one, please let me know.

I'm looking for a mod that just flat out changes them to be blonde, always and forever (until I remove the folder from my override, hur hur).

Hmmm, I will keep my eye out ( I am always looking lol) and let you know.  

IF you get a model you like though, and have that GFF or whatever the hell it is where you can edit the files, it should be easy enough to simply change their eye and hair textures in that, save, convert to erf and stick those in the override.  

I *have* the means on my computer.... but won't have personal time until tuesday or wednesday to play with it.  

IF it is still unresolved by then, I will see what I can do  If you find something in the meantime, post here =D

I had not even thought of that. I just need to keep making Hawke's until I get a light-eyed family I spose. Surely I can figure hair out comparing either Carver or Bethany from the mods.

I won't have a lot of time the next few days either, but I'll see what I can do if I beat you to it, heh.

Family faces are depending on the positions of sliders. I assume that user added (mods) materials like new tints and presets are considered as the last one of default material so even though you make Hawke with fair skin, family members will have dark skin. Unless we have access to CC script itself, it is not possible to achieve what you want.

Well sure, but people have stand-alone Carver and Bethany that look all manner of ways, including blonde/light eyed. Surely there's a way to make a fair Gamlen and Leandra this way, to be used when playing these sorts of characters?

If you just want to change all possible Leandra & Gamlen to have blue eyes, it's easy. You just need mor files of them and knowing how to edit mor file with GFF editor.

Heh, I need to learn to do that still, though And unfortunately I have a very busy schedule right now, so no time to do so.

I knew it was possible, I was just hoping someone else who already knew how to do it had time/inclination xD;;

If I can figure it out I'd probably go ahead and do more Hispanic, Asian and black-looking versions too. Actually I'd like to do that for Carver and Bethany as well. My first playthrough was unmodded so it was fine, but with all my mods it's now problematic
