ok need some help, kangaxx is out of spells, i can wack him for thousands of points of damage and he will not die nor change to the next lich?

my auto save and quick save are now at the same spot so unless i want to go back to the underdark, i really dont, how do i beat this guy?

is this a bug?  i have read something about a bug here when he doesnt say what he needs to say...

is there anyway to get through this to get the ring?

if i remember correct, you need weapons +4 or better to do damage to him.

 IIRC he wont talk to you if you bring his health down to fast.

Or it could be something similar to this thread. 

And if that doesnt work you could just pickpocket his ring.

Are you patched? not being patched causes all sorts of issues.

Did you use a protection from undead scroll on yourself? In a vanilla game, if he can't talk to you (which he wont with Pro Undead on you), his dialogue won't trigger and he won't turn into the demi-lich, although i think with the fixpack this is eliminated (e.g. he'll still trigger from lich to demilich under Pro Undead)

The 9th level spell Dragon's Breath is really effective at killing Kangaxx, so I highly recommend it.

In my game Evice (my pc) cast dragon's breath on him and he went to near death, and then Viconia wacked him with crom faeyr a few times and he died. He changed into his second form and Evice cast dragon's breath again. The second dragon's breath killed him instantly. He never got to attack or do anything. He just took 59 damage and died a couple seconds after the dialogue box went away.
