Hello everyone, I have just recently got into the Mass Effect series on the PS3, and have decided to go out and buy Mass Effect 1 on my PC, however from what I have been reading Amazon only sells the European verson of the game and won't work on a US PC. Any sugustions on where to buy it? Thanks!

 Both of those things are very strange.

I'd recommend buying it from Steam, as long as you're okay with Steam DRM. Just about every other version uses SecuROM DRM.

Gamestop doesn't sell PC games used. When you purchase PC software, you purchase a license to use it, not ownership of it. ;)

I would just go with Steam.

Well, don't quote me as I play both ME games on the 360, but didn't the latest version of the EA store ditch the SecuROM? Even if they didn't... I honestly to this day don't get the outrage over SecuROM.
