Yeah I just want helpful advice, just tried of ppl saying oh she gonna get back with your ex or oh she just using you as the rebound guy. Its not like that with me and her.

Sounds like you just want someone to agree that its all going to work out. Your probably going to regret this thread in future and you might be best off just letting it die.

Also if she gets back with your ex I'd like to hear that tale.

1. Cus i love these forums and its not like she'll ever see it.:P

Rather naive to think so tbh. It's not like Bioware is a rather secret company. I was in a rut a few years back and one of the issues I was having was a heart breaking breakup. I talked about it a lot and wrote about it a lot in a forum I was a member of for nearly 4 years and even if I never got crap on my neck because of it, I still regret it. Probably made me look like an idiot for starters. And whiny. And pathetic.

Did my ex ever see those posts I wrote? Probably not but seeing as he is a gamer as well, he might as well have. So never make the assumption that people wouldn't see things you write in public.

If things are going well with the girl then imho, stop posting about it. Enjoy it while it lasts. There's a Finnish saying on the lines of "the one who has the happiness, should keep it a secret".

don't be so hard on yourself there mate. when you go through a tough breakup, or something is really bugging you, its natural and good to let it out. letting things out is healthy, and telling someone about what you are going through leaves you feeling better afterwards. however, the internet really may not be the best medium for it. discuss it with a buddy in person; while the internet can also serve as that tool, it can add another layer of complication.

I'm grown-up enought to know that. The excact thing I was saying is that venting it on the internet is not the best choice a person can make.

People like the one above, can be rather immature about these things and online insults don't excactly help to your sorrow. Or happines for that matter.

Yeah.  It's often a tempting choice, being quite suitable for ranting and stuff; but apart from favourable responses (or not) being pot luck, it's often stored for posterity too: most of us say things in the heat of the moment, but it kind of sucks when it's a medium where they can come back to haunt us years later.

What's that phrase - something like "act in haste, repent at leisure".  The internets has a nasty habit of proving the point...

It was a joke. Do you seriously think people care or remember what you did a few years ago on the internet?

Nope, merely replying a joke with a joke. Which perfectly elaborates peoples' seriousness level in general when it comes to forums. Indeed, not the best place to vent a broken heart.
