So, I have a friend who rented Mass Effect awhile back, and she insists
that when she played it she was not told where to go or what to do.  She
spent like 2 hours exploring the ship before she figured out where to
go, then when she arrived on Eden Prime she was alone.  Kaidan and
Jenkins were not with her, she did not see Jenkins die, she never found
Nihilus, it took her 6 hours to find all the bombs because there was NO
mini map or anything to give her an idea where they were.  She never saw
or talked to any NPC.

I don't think she's stupid or anything
like that, but I just dont' see how she could have had these
problems?  Anyone ever heard this before? She said she rented the game
at Blockbuster when it first came out.../../../../images/forum/emoticons/surprised.png

ME1 has some funny glitches, and with what you describe it's possible. At least ME1 and ME2 are no where near as buggy as Fallout games.

At any rate,I hope your friend believes in second chances. ^_^

Yeah, once before I got stuck in place in the prothean ruins while going to save Liara, then just recently in the Citadel I got stuck on a siderail kinda the same bug... was freaking cause it had been 45min since my last save... finally with about 5min of trying I finally got free... LOL I just refused to reload that 45min ago save.
