Because gay marriage is legal here in Canada eh.

Half and half would have been a lot better than lazy all-at-once.

Yea and what then?

Isabella and Fenris would be gay, but Anders and Merrill not, and anyone feeling like me would be totally f*cked because I detest both Fenris and Isabella....

And if the lineup is different, then someone else gets screwed.

As it is now, it not only saves ressources but also makes sure noone complains about the wrong companion being the gay one.....

1 thing is clear for me..if ME3 has a ****** Shepard ...i'm done with bioware ..( ME had only 1 true lesbian option ..in ME2 Kelly...and that was secondary ...asari were 1 gender blue aliens that could "meld" with any specie in the galaxy ..so femShepard + Liara was not a TRUE lesbian romance )...so i hope ME male shepard will stay straight or i'm out of here ...but that's only my opinion

I don't see your problem. My Shepard was straight as an arrow. If you don't like to go for sausage, then don't hit on  the hunks. Although, considering your man-beef forum avatar, I suspect you are still undecided.

so you find homos funny  and not to be taken seriosly too ...nice ...you've proven my point ... on the other hand  a beard and mustchace looks gay to you ... your world must be quier indeed ...ok too much writting on this subject  my last post here ..these days if you don't care for homos  you must be somekind of "caveman"(somebody said that) ...uncool ..stupid...full of phobias...etc. ...pfff.

edit : and  to know what "kogaion" means you must  have more culture than mainstream mtv ****

There aren't that many "homos" in the game. They just stick out to you because they had the courage to follow the dreams that you've locked up inside. Time to step out of the closet, please.

nah, I just find YOU funny.

And just for the record: In my opinion, gays are a bunch of homosexuals!

I don't understand what the problem is. If you're playing a male character and don't want to romance the men, then shut down Anders and Fenris at the first available opportunity. Reverse for female character. 'Problem' solved.

Half and half would be worse.  It isn't  proportional to real life.  Better to have them all bi, even though that's still lazy and lame.

I don't think we should even care enough to look as far into it as that. That's just me, however.

Relevant part highlighted.

It's human nature to study and investigate, and different people will have different interests. Labels facilitate discussion. That's all.

That's, uh, kinda what I was getting at.

Yo son, don't be getting your homies mixed up, you dig?

Supposedly (with the exception of Isabella) they are supposed to be Hawke-sexuals, which means for example that Anders is straight if Hawke is a woman and gay if Hawke is a man. Which is rather stupid. Why can't male Hawke exist in a universe with straight Anders? Would a demon possessed David Gaider step out of the Fade and start wrecking things?

this made me lol :P

Vote4 David Gaider as endboss in DA3.

This...is a very interesting idea....But no, I just want to give him another chance. Come on, guys, this guy also wrote the story of DAO and KOTOR.

I add an extra h for emphasis ~ like how I prefer natzi over ****, well I don't, but that's the gist of it.

EDIT: Apperently the most common video game enemy save robbers and bandits is a banned word over here, but you get the point, and to the powers that be, I really had no idea, sorry about that ~

Maybe they should have a "No Gingers" button as well, I'd like the "No Blue eyes" button to be added, I got such a fobia of blue eyes :sniff:

I demand a "no f*cktards" option. There´s enough of these in Real life.

I'm sorry, do you want me to leave?

Or I'm always so confused when old fashionable passive aggression turns into ambigious aggression.

I should have the option of being able to work with a straight Anders and Fenris as they supposedly are in a universe with a FemHawke.

Anders is bisexual no matter what.
Fenris has sex with Isabela if you're not romancing either of them,
so he can easily be straight in your game. He never flirts with you.

I've been led to believe they are all "Hawke-sexuals" with the exception if Isabella. And to paraphrase a line from Archer:
"I thought you were gay?"
"Yes but it's Isabella. Nobody is that gay."

If they are all indeed bisexuals I will now bring up the issue of a lack of straight representation among LIs.

Those are like gay lumberjacks and bikers right? Please don't answer that. But it could turn one straight and put chest-hair on a woman. Bulletstorm and Duke Nukem are games that just do that and other impossbile things through sheer manliness and one-liners.

Lazy isn't the right adjective.

In terms of work required, it was not lazy.

The funny thing about all this is... I've seen many posts saying Anders hits on you, no matter what. Yet in a (now deleted unfortunately... always be careful when navigating menus when tired!) male Hawke playthrough, he didn't hit on me at all. I'm pretty sure I was using mostly, if not all, sarcastic options but I never picked any of the initial heart options. Maybe you just have to be sarcastic to him instead of being nice?
