It wont let me type for some reason so here....
I just beat the game and I resumed the game from the game's homscreen and I appear in the house. It has a quest icon over the writing desk but the desk doesn't have any quests. I try to go run around outside but the only places I can go are my house (current location) and the black emporium. If this one of those games where you just have to stay a new file? Cause I just got some really col great and I want to go run around town.....info please?

No bug, sorry. Thats all you can do on game completion. Well, at least until they release some post game DLC.

It's no different than DA:O where, upon completion, all you could do was walk around the camp and go to DLC areas. No bug, it's operating as originally intended. If you want to play still, you would need to roll a new character unfortunately, although a "New Game +" feature would be fantastic!

After I beat the game I ended up at the gates just before the final battle.
