I slept with her in act 2 after which it said i got Isabela's new armour but her look didn't change. I've read that drinking a maker's sigh potion makes it appear but guess what, maker's sigh potions seem to be bugged as well, i'm affraid of using them. Is there any other way to get the armour to show up?

Not as of yet. It will probably be fixed in the next patch.

Also I think all the armors are bugged to be honest. You are supposed to get an alternate costume even for those you don't romance. Anders is a perfect example of getting an alternate costume even if you don't romance him. His entire costume becomes black. I think that the alternate costumes activate after you've completed all the companion quests. But it's not happening with the other companions for some reason.

I could be wrong but with Anders' having an alternate costume is a tip off. Also I've seen Fenris's costume pop-up after completing his final companion quest killing Danarius and talking to him should have unlocked too but it didn't.

No. Fen's outfit is not supposed to unlock unless you romance him.

His alternate outfit has him wearing Hawke's favor and Amell crest. That makes no sense (well even less sense that it already makes) if you're not romancing him.

Merill gets silver lined armor after you romance her as well

Merrill's outfit actually looks very nice, but what is Isabela's supposed to look like after romancing, I have played through twice and her Armor never changed.

Nope.

All the LIs get one outfit change and for all of them but Anders it's tied to the romance. Anders outfit is tied to the completion of the "Justice" quest.

Sith Warden here is her outfit after the romance. Not much of a change to her to be honest.

That really doesn't look much different at all, Merrill's is a big difference.

Yeah, not that big of a difference. You do see it when she is getting dressed after the Act II boinking cut scene. Merrill looks like The Lady of the Lake in her new outfit.

Yeah and if you look at the Fenris clothing after the romance which you can find on the dragon age wiki, it looks the same with just a few alterations like Isabela's. Only two people to get a complete costume change are Anders and Merrill.

The Maker's Sigh bugs do not effect companions that drink them, so you will be fine.

don't save between drinking maker's sigh and selecting your abilities. do it all at once and you'll be fine

Nope. Very first time I used one, it shortchanged me. I did save after I drank the potion. People need to make sure they tally their attribute points and talent points AND write them down prior to using the potion.
