Generalizations again? REALLY?

In Holland we have this saying, a child's hand is easily filled. If you think DA2 is fantastic you're actually saying it's fine to have an unfinished game and you won't give BW an incentive to make games better. DA2 has potential, but is an unfinished game. People who think the game is fantastic either work for BW or very easily satisfied.
Damn! OK, you got me there! I admit it, I work for Bioware. Or I am easily satisfied. You decide.
I am not blind to DA2's flaws. I am well aware the game was "finished" in a record time and perhaps rushed. I wouldn't call it an "unfinished" game though because it has a start and it has an end.
However, in spite of all that may be seen as wrong with the game, I still came to the conclusion that it is FANTASTIC in my opinion!
And I'll go one step further and define FANTASTIC for you:
fan·tas·tic
[fan-tas-tik]
–adjective
1.conceived or appearing as if conceived by an unrestrained imagination; odd and remarkable; bizarre; grotesque: fantastic rock formations; fantastic designs.
2.fanciful or capricious, as persons or their ideas or actions: We never know what that fantastic creature will say next.
3.imaginary or groundless in not being based on reality; foolish or irrational: fantastic fears.
4.extravagantly fanciful; marvelous.
5.incredibly great or extreme; exorbitant: to spend fantastic sums of money.
6.highly unrealistic or impractical; outlandish: a fantastic scheme to make a million dollars betting on horse races.
7.Informal . extraordinarily good: a fantastic musical.

Persephone the term fantastic implys inherent greatness in all aspects. In short not the best term to use in relation to DA2. That's all i'm saying.
Fine by me if you define it as such. That's alright. I do believe it's splitting hairs though.

Yes, look at how all the priase of DAO affected Anders in DA2, he lost his cat.
Nothing I have said here is an attack on another person, some of the comments were posed in a light hearted manner but yet apparently a couple people find that insulting.
a. I pointed out how he changes his mind week to week and found it odd.
b. I joked about how game was liked in peoples lists of things they talk about most being friends/rivarly system which has things in common with FB.
c. I pointed out a phrase in someone else's reference quotes as amusing.
Apparently this makes me the spawn of satan.

Dragon Age: Origins, was the ground on which the Dragon Age universe was made. It required tactical moving and play for many of the encounters. It gave choice which shaped the world, a dark unique setting and such. It felt like with Dragon Age 2, they were trying to make another game entirely, it felt as if they just threw the DA universe out of the window and started from scratch.
Some say this is a good thing, some say it isn't. I don't think its a good thing to change it all about when you already have the foundations for one thing and then build something entirely new and 'innovating' onto it.
There is a LOT wrong with this game, it doesn't match or stand near as tall as it's origins. As it does (While completing every quest) take as long as Awakening.
That isn't to say there arn't any good points to the game, it is just from what it came from, it was a huge disappointment to a very large fan base. Change is not always a good thing.

I have no problem when people say they like the game or even loved it but calling it FANTASTIC is going to far, from the repeating maps, ninja spawns to bugs/glitches freezing consoles and corrupting game saves.. By any stretch of the imagination this is not a fantastic game, fantastic concept maybe but in reality what was released does not live up to that at all.
Fantastic to me means far beyond expectations or of amazing quality. Niether of those apply to DA2 imo.
