Ugh, Noveria's the reason I've only played through Mass 1 twice... and that is ALL of the times I'll do that...
I really don't mind Therum, Feros, Virmire, Ilos, etc but Noveria was just... such a long, sh itty mission that it was pretty much game ruining for me
As far as Thane goes, he's a cool concept for a character but yeah, not really that well written in. Just seems thrown in there.

I dislike the Novaria mission as well. I don't mind the startup, but once you go to the research facility. OMG I hate having to restart the facility, I hate how when you get to the labs you have to deal with all the bull**** still. I mean at least Feros had the decency to build up to the finale. Novaria sort of tweeters out until you get to Benezia.
