I am just curious about the pc gameplay.
Having seen the gameplay videos of both pc and consoles i dont know where to go.
To me the combat (i have seen) seems much more appealing on the consoles but i would prefer to get this game on the pc so im a bit stuck.
Im just wondering can anyone shed any light on the way combat works in the PC version as to me it doesnt seem fluid or enjoyable.
First of do you have to point and click? (i know its a rpg standard of control)
Can you have combat like the consoles on the PC ie not zoomed out, not pausing and controling all party members etc?
thanks for any help xD
PC gameplay?

Yes you can have combat like on the consoles, its just that you probably want to play on easy in that case.
Movement is done via click, WASD, or drive by pushing both mouse buttons(or your own setup)

So far as I know its just the console that has limited camera, they cant zoom out all the way.

From what I have seen and inferred (Could be faulty) is that the PC has all the stuff you could want while the consoles do not. PC lets you move with WASD so it is controlled like every other non-Asian RPG ever made. You can use the numbers for skills or be a horrid clicker (is still just as efficient with the pause function).
P.S. PC has better graphics (if your machine can handle them)

Thanks for the reply just what i wanted to hear as i much prefer uninterupted combat and hate having to use the mouse to move xD
Also something else just poped into my mind
Does anyone know if attacks run automaticly when you accuire a target or do you have to click the mouse or again does it depend on your preference?

im in the same boat...i like the pc for its graphics, framerates, and mod support, but prefer console controls and an up close camera view. The way I look at it is this: you can still play as much of the game as you want up close and personal, but you have the OPTION to zoom out and tactically assess each combat situation. Thats how I'll play it at least.

No need to clicky clicky. Characters will continue to attack; there's a good chance that when their target is dead they will attack another. You can tweak their AI quite a bit.

Use your 360 controller on your PC. Theres some small driver to dl from microsoft somewhere if you just use a wired one.

Yeah, once you assign a target they'll stick with it unless you set up their AI not to (ie your healer breaks off attacking to heal then they might go onto a different target after that). Your characters in general will move on from one to target to the next depending on AI which can be a pain fi they are too aggressive and bring int eh next mob while your still cleaning up.
