im finding boss fight on hard difficulty very boring 30 minute fights , twice ive ended up just changing to casual for the fight as im bored , dont want to play on normal as i find it a bit too easy and quick with 99% of fights .

When you change difficulty is it an instant effect? or do you have to do it before an encounter? I didnt really think and in the past reloaded it and changed to casual for the boss fight i'd already fought for ages . Can you just change it on the fly once you realsie a fight will drag on forever?

one fight for example was the arishok , duelled him for ages with my mage and neither of us could kill each other , i swear once i got him too low health he was healing quicker than i could hurt him , didnt help that my mage didnt have many attack spells.

Yes I'm pretty sure the change is instant.

Yes I switched to nightmare from hard and my whole team dropped dead from a firestorm spell that was still in effect!

And the Arishock only has a set number of healing potions 3 max I think, and he'll take extra damage from cold even a staff that has cold on nightmare he's immune to fire and lightning.

ouch . Think ill play on hard then quickly switch to normal for bosses , should be ok then .
