It doesn't matter for game purposes. For the sake of your personal sanity, travel counter-clockwise gathering the parts you need and fix the ones you come to if you have everything;  don't bother backtracking except you'll have to come back to the first one on the upper left and do it last.

Unless you kill the gnoll and take his lever right from the start;  then you can fix them as you come to them, but a small sidequest will be closed.
