I took Mother's corpse to the haberdasher... and it was a slow day?!

The only genuinely inappropriate response to me is the one where the Viscount is holding Seamus' corpse.

If you give Sebastian his family bow, there's an inappropriate joke Hawke can make. (paraphrased) "A bow is much better than a family. If you're being attacked by monsters, you can't very well shoot your family at them."

That is an awesome joke, not an inappropriate one, at least to me.  Keep in mind that at the point you can make the joke, Sebastian's family has been dead for 3+ years, so it's not the same as with the Viscount and Seamus.

And if I remember right even Sebastian can't help but chuckle slightly at it.

Why wouldn't you take her to the haberdasher, that veil thing she wears when frankened is not stylish at all.

All those so-called 'inappropriate' lines...
My money is on Isabella.
She loves to draw naughty things in the margins too...

I know it's just a consequence of how the "examine" things are implemented (and not reacting to plot flags), but I like it better if Wry Hawke is just a total douche, even to herself.

Upsettingshorts hated the inappropriateness of always selecting the wry responses, but I only like them when they're inappropriate.

Proof that even two Wry Hawkes can be different characters from the game's perspective.

Not the only inappropriate one (as you already noted in a later post) but definitely the worst.  Humorous/sarcastic Hawke isn't supposed to be the most sensitive person but that was worse than 99% of the renegade direct/forceful responses.  Only one that made me say aloud, "Jesus, Hawke!  What is wrong with you?!"  Made even worse when you consider you can only get that quest after Hawke's mother dies.  So Hawke is grieving over losing not just their mother but either the last family member they have or at least the last one still in their life.  I don't know how anyone could NOT be sympathetic in that position.  Losing a parent is incredibly hard, the hardest thing most people go through in their lives I think, but losing a child?  That's...

Does anyone recall the humorous response to the Viscount/Seamus situation?

Something along the lines of "Well, look on the bright side. Things can't get any worse. Today, at least. It's pretty late."

Which I should say would be a hilarious response to almost anything horribly bad happening, it just feels really wrong when the guy is sitting there on the floor holding his dead son in his arms.

...Eek. Yeah, that one was pretty tactless, considering.

A few of the humorous responses sound more like 'socially inept, awkward Hawke' rather than witty.

Which is so totally something my character would say. To Bethany.

Amusingly, Orana somehow "knew" my mother and "missed" her, even though I hired her after the "All that remains" quest.

That's several shades of creepy right there.
