People complaining about two disc swaps per playthrough shouldn't even play the game, because that would require them to do something stressful like pressing a button.

I really don't care how many discs ME3 will be.

Quality before quantity.

If it has multiple disks, they can just let us install all but one disk on the hard drive so we can play on one disk.

I think the new Castlevania game did this.

Funny, I remember someone else on another forum mentioning this but whenever I try and play an earlier mission in Castlevania:LOS my 360 demands that I switch discs even though I have both discs installed to my harddrive. I'm either not doing it properly or this rumour is bs.

There is currently no way round the disc check when you need to swap discs, Microsoft has put in a requirement that the console checks the data in the reserved section which does not get transfered to the HDD when you install the disc so you have to have the correct disc inserted before the content will load.

If you actually read the thread you'd see that no one's complaining about it. I was just trying to think of a better way. There's always a better way, always a chance to improve.

The problem with a PC is that it costs a ton of money to have a top of the line computer.

800-1000 bucks is a ton of money? You don't need top of the line PC to play any game.

Wow what are you a banker or a drug dealer?

Wish I had that much money to go "Meh 1000 bucks is nothing! *sets $1000 on fire* As to the topic, Idk if you compact tight enough which runs the danger of more bugs, or reuse alot of assets you could do it on one disc.

On the other hand...you could allow it to where some content is downloaded but thats a problem for some people. I myself am hoping for a 3 CD game this time around, and we finally get to see some more alien worlds and the Females of the various species..though I may regret that last part. Or at least 2 again.

I hope it's 3 to 5 Discs. I want high-res textures for my dual 6970's. DA2 was 1 DVD and looked like crap.

If the game's great, it wouldn't bother me how many discs it comes on.

Ill be very happy if 3 disks are used. Hopefully ME3 is a little bit longer then ME2.

I felt like ME2 didn't necessarily need two discs and actually would have been better off on one. I won't mind disc swapping as long as I can obtain any combo of squad mates on either disc, unlike ME2.
