What we DON'T want from Mass Effect 3

Shepard can only win by sacrificing himself
Vorcha LI
Kaidan (or Ashley) is back from the grave as a cyborg with a desire to kill Shepard
TIM is a reaper
Planet-scanning
Female turians that look like skeletor
The reapers are doing the right thing
"No Shepard, you are the reapers"
"I just decided I'm gay for you Shepard"
All paragon decisions work out well in the end, all renegade decisions don't
Normady is destroyed again at the start of the game
Shepard has to be rebuilt again
None of your decisions mattered
Bioware: we "streamlined" all of these elements out of the game for you, thank us later
I could go on and on.

Please Bioware, stick with your sensational story telling and Mass Effect game play, and be there to support your fans if any bugs are reported. I would rather wait a couple more months than purchase a defective product that dissapoints and impacts on my interest to play the game in the future and purchase DLC. I have faith that ME3 is going to be worth the wait.

Also, the loyalty missions were good for what ME2 was, but I don't think they fit with ME3's premise. Focusing on gathering allies with a possible variation in how successful the final mission is based on how many allies you've recruited to your cause may be a good replacement. As it is, though, the "squad-building" theme of ME2 has run its course, methinks.
I can't adequately sum up what improvements I think ME3 should have without talking about things I think should be added, though, so this is hardly a complete picture of my dream sequel.

I know Transformers fans can be, AT TIMES very bitter, cynical, unapprecitaite group of d-bags, but not like Bioware's fans many of whom seem to be that way ALL of the freaking time.
Back to the topic at hand:
What I don't want in Mass Effect 3 is multiplayer.
Now if BW/EA wants to a MP Mass Effect game then it can be an expansion pack, DLC, spin-off or even Mass Effect 4 I don't have a problem with any of that, but I don't want it in Mass Effect 3!

Some sort of time travel. That has been done to death.
Multiplayer

this game is billed to be an RPG, therefore we need less shooter and more RPG, which means they should bring back what they were doing with ME1 and sprinkle in things from DA2
No more upgrades as skills
No more 2 suits for companions and that's it unless you research upgrades...why? they should be able to wear better armor to make them better protected...isn't that how it works?
No more "clips"...I mean really...lore change? it worked with ME1, but I guess if you neuter the level up skills you may as well add clips

I do not want certain characters like Tali from ME2 forced on us because of Fan Service....

While I do agree that the main trilogy should not have multiplayer, I wouldn't mind a multiplayer/co-op focused spin-off.GHOST OF FRUITY wrote...

I think it would be bad if they made ME3 with Mulitplayer and/or co-op. If they want to make a fourth game that way fine, but not ME3.VolusNamedBob wrote...

Multiplayer is just about the only thing I don't want.
There is just one thing I do want though and that is to shoot The Illusive Man right between those creepy eyes of his.

No vehicles! I'm fine with anything else.
Agreed. As someone who insists on doing all optional content in games (especially RPGs) I found the use of vehicles in the first ME completely tedious and at times frustrating. This isn't a bog standard action shooter - I don't think vehicles make good use of the RPG elements.
I also don't want multiplayer, but that goes without saying.

This!
As others have said, don't throw that crap into ME3... leave it for a spin-off game. If I even get a whiff that multiplayer is going to be shoe-horned into ME3, I won't be buying it.
Why? Because I'll have lack of faith the core game will be up to expectations, since time has been spent on something I and seemingly many others, don't want. Pre-judging much? Hell yes! I've played DA2... nuff said.
We know there's a great deal of mileage in the Mass Effect franchise, but don't ruin what should be the grand finale of the story that's been told in the first two games. There's plenty of opportunities to go down different routes with spin-off games.

Do not include:
"To be paragon, Shepard/ Shepards Love Interest has to die. HA! Bet you didn't see that one coming! oh, wait, you did..."
Squadmate death for new character purposes: though tis probably inevitable.
No new aliens for squadmates. cmon Bioware, give me my Human/ Batarian/ Vorcha killing machine dream team...

- The whole ME2 squad minus Garrus and Joker.
- Stupid outfits during battles, Why is shepard, garrus, and grunt the only people with a brain to wear armor in a battle.
- No New ship.
- No loyalty missions.
- NO WORKING FOR CERBERUS!!
- No freelancing Shepard, I still want him to work under a group of people that still give him the range to take care of things his way. Like the Alliance, or have him become souly a Spectre serving with the Citadel fleet.
- I do not want another cheesey 1980's video game final boss where its duck and cover and hit the "weak spots" type of a fight for the end of the game. THIS IS THE FINAL I REPEAT THE FINAL CONCLUSION TO THE STORY OF CMDR SHEPARD AND THE REAPERS. THIS ENDING MUST BE EPIC!!!!! LIKE THE ENDING TO THE FIRST GAME WHICH IN MY OPINION WAS THE MOST EPIC CONCLUSION TO A STORY EVER! THIS CAN NOT BE CHEESEY LIKE THE ME2 ENDING WITH A NINTENDO FIGHTING GAME FEEL TO IT. THE CINEMATICS MUST BE EPIC AND EMOTIONAL. GIVE THE PLAYER A FEELING OF OH MAN.... FINALLY.... ITS OVER...
- In all seriousness, this is my favorite video game ever. And yes I'm a big FPS but this series is by far my favorite story game of all time. DO NOT! Make this a let down like Halo 3.
