I liked the loyalty missions in that they gave more depth to the characters and that they added more game content.

I would like to see any possibility of ever helping Cerberus whatsoever completely absent.  Cerberus are very bad people.  Even if you play it as renegade, those guys are beyond the pale.  If Cerberus were around today..  oh wait, they are around today, in the form of the KKK, Randy Weaver, The Minutemen, Timothy McVeigh.  Seriously man.  If this is going to be me plunking down a fair amount of cash to be helping the video game neo-**** militia people from space, i can spend the money elsewhere.

I really hate the characters with the chip on the shoulder.  I wanted to push some of them out the airlock.  Or at least just fire them and drop them off at Omega.  For instance, Jack.  Jack was damned nice to look at, and a tremendous fighter (I took her on lots if not most missions), but seriously?  That kind of attitude?  Whatever kind of miserable life she had, I didn't do it.  In real life if you had an employee like that, she'd be fired pretty much immediately.  Similar story with Grunt.  He reminded me of some of the folks in my medieval martial arts groups...  No interest in any kind of disciplne, history, whatever.. they just want to be able to beat the crap out of people with minimal risk of jail.  Grunt has no interest in Krogan culture, history, political issues, biophage survival?  I miss Urdnot.

Miranda.  Hate her.  Only way I want to see her in ME3 is as an obituary.  Totally unpleasant.  Die-hard Cerberus meets corporate douchebag type.

Mordin.  Having grown up in a home full of scientists, let me be plain about this.  The character is a very flat stereotype.  Scientists, while intimidatingly smart, don't act like that.  When not working they tend to eat and drink to excess, go skiing (or whatever), and try to get laid.

Ashley.  Racist jerk.  I hope to read that she died in the same fire that claimed Miranda.

Jacob.  I wanted to like him, but the character development was pretty flat.  Can we either have him given a third dimension or lose him?  Why did the token black guy get stuck with the role of TOKEN BLACK GUY?  The only thing that saved him from honorary mention in "Hollywood Shuffle 2" would be that he didn't die while sacrificing himself for everybody else.

Zaeed.  From the instant I got the message about the guy, I was thinking about Blackwater mercs in Africa and the Middle East.  No way would I be in the same room with this piece of garbage, let along work with him.  Plus his outfit was ridiculous.  Like someone who was booted out of an anime cartoon for looking too silly.

Legion.  Good Geth?  Really?  Good?  The Geth make such awesome, soul-less, machine bogey men.  They are so perfect as endless, unfeeling monsters. They were like some endless stream of John Wayne Gaceys and Jeffrey Dahmers.  And then you go and make them good?  I deliberately took Tali on the Legion loyalty mission and was shocked when SHE also suggested trying to fix their attitudes and letting them live.

Kolyat.  Please no.  I see enough of angst-filled young people with a sense of entitlement every day.  The video game is supposed to be a source of escapism.

Anderson being useless.  Please let that man leave his office and get into a fight.  Any fight.  Maybe in ME2 he will require breaking out of jail after he beats Udina nearly to death.

What I don't want?

- linear storyline and a contrived / railroaded plot with no true choices

- Shep automatically speaking lines (if my character speaks, it should be to say what I've directed her to say; not something that may be radically out of character)

- 'false' dialogue choices whereby only one real option is presented (because all selections lead to the same remark and the only 'choice' is in the number of 'investigate' options examined)

- previous decisions and relationships rendered trivial and only given lip-service in emails and cameos (if I romanced someone from the first game, they shouldn't just disappear into the background)

- lack of respect for the intelligence of the player (some of the lines & events in ME 1 & 2 were just plain silly)

- The hovering tutorial text that tells you what to do, like "Press and Hold "F" to end the mission" or "click left mouse button to send a probe" without any way to turn it off!!!
- Mission complete summaries

hair made out of pleather... I know that is wishful thinking but that is my only complaint with the graphics of these games. and it's a big one
multiplayer
male companions hitting on male Shepard. I have no problem with homosexual relations in games, but I'd rather they be optional content.
any resources other than money.... and no probing for money

To which I shall add:

- male companions hitting on female Shepard. I have no problem with
heterosexual relations in games, but I'd rather they be optional content...oh wait, they already are

New teammates. They have a total of 16 different characters to choose from. That's more than enough.

There is a difference between optional and my femshep sounding like she's going to sexually assault Jacob.

I don't mind relationships for everyone just don't have them start because I had the gall to talk to another party member and be nice to them. Anders in DA2 was a glaring example while you could actually be friends and not romance other compainions (unlike other Bioware games where it's either romance them or tell them you hate them and don't get to talk to them) Anders gives you a freaking Heart, Broken Heart, Broken Heart no other option railroaded as hell choice in the first freaking conversation.

This is going to be pretty simple, but I think it sums up all of our feelings.

- We don't want to be let down.
- We don't want out intelligence to be insulted.
- We want an EPIC story and ending
- We want our squad.
- We want to end our ME trilogy experience feeling like we have done something.

Bring back the sense of immersion! Remove the terrible loading screens and mission complete screens.

The loading screens were really recycled, and the elevators were more interesting. There was a bit of banter, etc. The loading screens are just boring and dont bring anything to the table, and really bring you out of the fine universe BioWare has crafted.

No more mission complete screens either. You could have them sent as an e-mail to Shepard or something, but its a bit annoying when the game's action is ended so "Mission Complete" can come up.
