I am curious, if any of the writers are willing to share more of the lore on Fog Warriors. What we gleam of them in game is that they are rebel warriors who embrace freedom and are found somewhere in Saheron jungles.

Are they Tal-Vashoth? Or Tevinters rebelling against the Imperium? What are they fighting for, if they are fighting at all?

I remeber Ash warriors in Origins and their legend told by one of the scouts in Ostagar... it was one of the memorable moments from that part of the game :). Is there anything like it for Fog Warriors? (Even if it's not in game, but in writers' minds :) )

They're not Tal-Vashoth. They're people native to Seheron, fighting against both the Imperium and the Qunari. What they want is to free the island from the clutches of both empires.

I'm pretty sure they're human, and not quanri/tal-vashoth.

I did picture them as something like the ash warriors too.

"Fog Warriors" is the "Hightown" of elite warrior names.

Are they human or a separate species?

Fenris mentions them in his first "questioning beliefs" quest.

Fenris tells you about them. After you kill Hadrianna I think.

I assumed they're called fog warriors because they use guerilla warfare, hiding in the fog of the island's jungle.

Thank you, for clarifying that, Mr. Gaider :). It's always nice to file away small tidbits of game lore. :)

Pretty much. The Fog would be intense and hard to fight in. Just like trying to drive around in the Fog in a place like San Diego, California.

Ahh, thank you . . . either missed or forgot that, I guess.

I believe it's when he mentions his escape. It actually is an interesting story. Well portrayed character imo.

Yes it is a great scene. It really made Fenris grown on me.

How long has Seheron been under occupation by the Qunari or Tevinter?

Are Fog warriors the Fex?

I don't think so, I think it's been stated that the Fex are native to Par Vollen. Of course, Seheron is awfully close to Par Vollen, so maybe they live there as well?

By then he had already grown on me more than I ever thought he would, but I agree - great scene.

We can only dream...but I assume if they were Fex it would have been mentioned. Like if you met a cat race car driver, you wouldn't say "I met a race car driver" but "I met a car race car driver!"

It can be assumed that Seheron was under Tevinter control pre-Storm Age. Once the Qunari landed and began taking over most of Thedas can be assumed when Seheron was captured by the Qunari with the island changing hands every now and then up until the Dragon Age.

Thats my guess at least.

If they're native to Seheron and fighting the Imperium...would they be elves?

Anyone remember the Last Samurai - the samurai rebels fighting against the westerners and the japanese under the western influence, attacking from the fog was one of the most beautiful scenes in the entire movie? I can't help but imagine the fog warriors to be something like that/and that would be so badass/

Tal Vashoth and humans could become part of the Fog Warriors I believe. People unhappy with their respective empires could side with the natives, and help them in their plight. This could explain how Fenris learned about Qunari culture and traditions from them. This is what I assumed.
