Whenever I try to buy DLC it brings up this message:
"An error has occurred while trying to process your request. Please, try again later."
and I have been getting that same error message for over a year now. I really want to play the DLC before ME 3 comes out but Bioware won't take my money!
I'm almost sure it's an issue with my account because this problem persists after I changed computers and imported my save files from the old computer.
Any suggestions?

If it persists then it means that your firewall IP address is blocked, or it can not be read. It also might not be accessible in the region you are.

What had happened, for me, is EA had 2 separate "wallets" assigned to my 1 account for bioware points. this made it impossible for the system to know which "wallet" to assign points to. I called tech support at (650) 628-1001 and they sorted it out in short order
hope that helps

When I try to buy DLC for ME3 or ME2 I get the same error, "It appears as you have more than one accounts for this currency. Remove one and try again." Subsequent attempts to purchase for both games display a new message: "An error has occurred while trying to process your request. Please, try again later." I have multiple personas on my EA account, but only one account as far as I know.
I've submitted a request to EA support but their email support has been unhelpful in the past. I had an issue that was only resolved by their Twitter guy, email guy was incompetent when it came to getting games registered on my Origin account.

This happens for ME3 AND ME2, this topic describes my exact problem so I felt it was appropriate to post here.

This forum is NOT about account problems at all. You are wasting time and space in the wrong place.
The original thread was in the wrong place, and should have been moved ages ago. Now it's so old it should left dead and buried.
"Mass Effect 2 PC Technical Support (Spoilers Warning) This forum is for fans and owners of Mass Effect 2 on the PC to assist each other with technical questions. Official game support is provided by Electronic Arts, but fans are encouraged to try to assist each other here. "

Deal with it man, it's a Mass Effect 2 PC technical problem and users in the thread are/were attempting to assist each other. I learned some info from pineappledan's posts that I've used to describe my problem to EA. If you're worried about wasting time and space then you could have left the thread alone and we'd have four less posts in it. Good day, sir!
