I disagree. Male Hawke seems genuine around Merrill, very worried but supportive. The term creeper is freely used to describe someone who is sexually dangerous and/or disgusting. I take some offence to implying that Male Hawke's gender somehow makes his affection less relevant and sincere, and infact derails it into 'creepy' territory. Male Hawke's VA did a great job at implying subtle tones of worrying and honesty in the flirt options around Merrill, it's nice to see that Hawke can be a bit nervous and innocent when flirting with Merrill.

By the way, Fem-Hawke is boring and stupid and she acts like a doo-doo head around Merrill, big meanie. While we're on this topic Fem Hawke is fascist. Alright well, assuming people take that seriously, my work is done here.

As far as DA2 goes I've only done Anders Isabela and Fenris. Anders will forever be gay to me, the other 2 I get a vibe either way.

I got it in DA:O though too. I romanced Leliana as a male and was like... "Um, this is clearly a one sided relationship" It just felt wrong, like Anders does for me in 2.

And seriously how can Alistair NOT go both ways. I mean when he asked my male warden if he ever licked a lamppost I was "Um, wow" I seriously think I blushed a bit.

I haven't seen the friendship lines with dudeHawke. When I say he feels like a creeper, I mean he's very much the dominant partner in the relationship, and that creeps me out. I don't mean he's sexually dangerous or disgusting, I mean he's creepy I also don't mean that his affection is less relevant or sincere, I mean I have no interest in observing it. I enjoy the f/f relationship more because Merrill is less doe-eyed infatuated, and more "You're everything I wish I could be." Which is, I guess, just as unequal, but it feels much more genuine to me.

Fenris I can totally see bi. I can't do the 'throw against the wall" love scene without seeing my femhawke as Garrett.
Anders I can see bi, but in my playthrough where I romance him I assume he's hawkesexual.

Personally, the lines I've heard from Fem Hawke often sound like she's trying to hard. Male Hawke sounds understanding to me.

IA with that last one. You essentially get the same conversation about licking lampposts in winter and if I remember right, he says, "my love" to either gender if you're at max approval with him when you're switching between characters. Alas, him vying for the throne and marrying a guy is probably too progressive for a fairly conventional place like Thedas.

Well, mid-twenties is quite old. It isn't like he has the resonating tones of Max Von Sydow or Anthony Hopkins.

But I feel like this isn't getting anywhere. This is like me walking to a fish telling him how swell breathing air is, trying to convince him that breathing air is the superb way to live and that it is far superior to breathing and living in water. But at the end of the day i'm still talking to a ****ing fish.
