Anyone have a clue why Bring down the sky are installed with the digital copy from EADM but yet it doesn't register with the game?

I used saves i had when playing on my retail copy of ME1 with everything installed including Bdts but when i try to load any saves it tells me i have a missing dlc and that the dlc is Bdts. The dlc map is there 343mb~ in size and i know for a fact it's the exact same size as it was on my retail install and the config utility even shows(not everytime) that bring down the sky is there installed and the cd-key shows.

What gives? is it installed or not? if not why would the dlc map be there will all it's content?

PS: retail copy is nordic version(swedish manual)
And the EADM version was installed using English(US) because it didn't give me any other english option. (german, spanish, italian etc also showed so i assume it's still european and should be compatible with my save files.)
