So, I am on my first playthrough, a 2 handed warrior build on hard difficulty, and I am level 10. Hawke died in combat for the first time today(first time when Hawke has died and I still won the battle) and I noticed that he did not get "injured" or lose any of his maximum health. All of my other characters get it when they fall in combat, so I decided to let Hawke die again in the next battle, with the same results. I double checked every talent, spell, item etc that I own for anything that would reduce the chances(or complete negate) the "injured" debuff, but there is nothing. The only ability that I know of that does this is in the spirit healer tree that none of my characters have specialized in anyway. I have a friend with DA2 on PS3, and his Hawke get injured all the time, so it has led me to believe it is a bug. BUT, I have not found any post in the forums adressing this issue.

Does anyone else have this happen in their game? It's not a terrible bug, since I personally don't like letting Hawke die in the first place, but I think it will make a bigger impact when I try Nightmare difficulty. I would definitly like to hear from anyone with more information. Thanks.

Just a quick note, I do have the Black Emporium DLC installed, but I am only version 1.00(I just found out there is a patch 1.1 from these forums so I guess it's possible it has already been fixed... but I would prefer finishing my first playthrough with the game release version.)

*cough* That kind of death can also reduces your hp. Permanently. Same sort of issue that exists with the friendship buff and the makers sigh.

yeah, what he said.
sometimes he gets injured, other times not. It's a gamble.
