Ok. I downloaded the game from steam and installed it. The game ran pretty horrible until I got the latest Nvidia beta drivers (270.56 or something). I start it up and everything is fine. Running the game with everything maxed out and in DX11. Game runs 40+ fps constantly, not suttering etc.
So everything seems ok then bam, blackscreen, audio is still playing but the game drops to "not responding". Usually happens after about 20 minutes of playing. If I try to load the game up again, it just keeps crashing at random spots before I can even load the game again. If I restart, I can get another 15-20 minutes of playtime out of it.
I havn't tried lowering the settings because simply put, I payed for the game and should be able to play it with the options that are given to me. I know I could probably just run the game in "Dx9" but I didn't just buy a new video card to play this game at settings my old card could of handled.
Whats even more annoying is its the same "random" crash that used to happen in DA:O also. I think it boils down to a very poor engine honestly. The game looks "Ok" not "OMG Awsome" but its very clear that the programming in this game is pretty horrible, you can almost feel the crash coming rofl.
Anyways, sorry for going off on a rant, but its highly annoying not being able to play this game without it crashing every 20 minutes. Sucks the fun out of it.
In anycase My System specs I guess for anyone who would like to give some useful advice.
E8500 @ 4ghz. (Yeah its old but don't feel like upgrading for a VERY minimal if noticable performance increase "in games").
EVGA NForce 790i Ultra board
4gigs DDR3 @ 1333
G35 Headset for sound or HDMI Audio.
MSI 570 GTX OC Edition. (runs at around 60c in the game, so I know its not a heating issue).
Any updates on the random crashing?
