Kinda pissed about the lack of cats in Kirkwall. I swear I was looking everywhere throughout the game, Merrill did mentioned there were cats at the market.

Anders seemed so emo because he lost Ser Pounce A Lot, maybe he wouldn't have been if I got him a basket of kittens?

Considering the sad-on the writers seem to have for Anders, any kittens he received probably would have been brutally murdered by templars anyway.

Me too! After I heard that bit of banter I was searching for one for the rest of the game.

And to answer the title question: Of course, everything turns out better with a basket of kittens.

Probably if you had gotten Anders a cat things would have worked out better. After all, he ran from the Circle for a cat, quit the Wardens for a cat, started a war for a cat.

It's weird that Anders only has one gift, unlike all the other romance options who have two. Maybe there was a basket of kittens and it got cut? Conspiracy!

Anders has two gifts. Tenvinter chantry amulet and the key to the cellar in Hawke's mansion.

the key, if you only romance him 8D haha, lame, really. We need the proper second gift for Anders, like a tabby.
