Well this is just Fing marvolous! Been having increasing problems with Do:A not ebing able to find my net connection so I try installing the 1.01b patch, only now The Stone Prisoner quest and Sulcher's Pass no longer show up, I've not been to the pass yet on this game, only just out of the 1st main town... I do get a 'Premium Content' section of my log, but it's blank.
I must say I am getting really, REALLY Fing fed up with all this Fing BS, I preordered the collector's edition of this game solely on BioWare's rep that they won't F this up and so far I've been dissapointed.. now I'm aware that much of the DLC issies are to do with EA but frankly that's beyond the point... 1 DLC refuses to download without failing, BDA, and not ONE of the umpteen fixes work... I can't purchase Warden's Keep because nothing I've tried will get it to show up as availible content so I can't buy it... and now a patch designed to fix issues has broken a DLC I've used before with absolutely no isses.
JUST WHAT THE FING HELL ARE YOU ****S IN QUILITIY CONTROL FING DOING???!!!
1.01b just broke Shale

First up, go read around other posts before you pitch a tantrum.
If your downloads are failing and not showing up in the list... Check your firewalls, including windows firewall, add it to the exceptions list, then try again. If you don't have firewalls, maybe you have a hidden one you don't realize... like a router? Is it allowing the proper ports to be forwarded?
Doesn't really have anything other to do with the patch, than maybe windows is seeing it as a new program to block.
I'm sure Bioware's "quality control" department are doing just fine. Check your own machine before blaming the dev's, they did a great job with this game.

Maybe I HAVE been reading the other forums, maybe I HAVE been trying thing they suggest and MAYBE they're not WORKING!
I have disabled Firewalls for downloads.. and anti-virus.. and added exceptions... everything but BDA downloads fine.
And I hate to say it but it DOES have something to do with the patch because I had ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEMS with Stone Prisoner/Shale before installing the patch, then the instant I install it the quest breaks... or is it all just one great cosmic coincidence?
And I have to say that considering the problems both myself and others are having with 1.01a and 1.01b there ARE problems in Bioware Quality Control.
So please do me a favor and don't treat me like a computer illiterate noob, I have been trying to get my earlier issues sorted since launch WITH POSTS FROM THIS VERY FORUM and they're not working and now a patch breaks something that I've had no problems with until the instant I install it... so forgive me for starting to get very, VERY Fing pissed off about this whole issue, especially since official support is (almost) completely non-existent.

Try this :
On the main menu go to Downloadable Content --> Installed Content.
Untick The Stone Prisoner --> Click Done.
Resume Game --> Force Load.
Exit Game. (Don't Save)
Go back to Downloadable Content re-enable The Stone Prisoner and Resume game.

No luck unfortunately, still no quest, although there is still a blank Premium Content quest slot, and still no map marker.
I think this weekend I'm gonna have to try a reinstall of Stone Prisoner and a manual download of BDA and WK see if that'll get them working.

Sounds fairly much like my case with 1.0.1a... No map marker for Wardens Keep, though I do have the quest in the journal.
I did also first experience the 'blank' instead of Soldiers Peak, and I fixed the blank by manually reinstalling the DLC, but for the map markers, they're gone, and Levi Dryden isn't in the camp for me.

Everything went fine with my first game. Installed the patch and started a second game with 1.01b and got Shale ok. Saved my game, and came back to it later - and most of DLC had become unlicensed or whatever so I had to re-download it all.
Went to Soldier's Peak - completed that ok with Shale in my party, but now any time I go to talk to Shale, the screen glitches and the only options are to activate Shale or do nothing.
Done everything above and nothing. Shale is broken.

I haven't gone to Soldiers Peak, and had opted to leave it to level 13-14 or so instead of going there as level 7 to make it more challenging. Now I can't go there at all, arggh... and I frigging paid the 6-7€ for the DLC.

Anyone else find it astounding that BioWare has announced a NEW DLC pack before the ones already available are even fixed?

Yes, I would very much like Bioware, my favourate gaming company to help me, or us when we really need them, a new DLC announcement was the last thing I needed, the current DLC is still broke for a lot of people, I would of preferd if they also said along with the new DLC announcement;
''We are also looking into the problems of the current DLC, stay tuned for an update''
Or something like that, I really hope Bioware have not forgot about us, or are not just ignoring us, its Bioware, thats the last thing I'd expect them to do anyway.. hopefully.

I have downloaded the DLC successfully, so can I patch the game from ver. 1.0 to 1.1b safely? Is the DLC working after updating the game?

I can't answer that question mate... I'm sure many people have updated to 1.01b ((please people, get the version numbers right)) with no issues... just as there are many like me where updating has caused more issues then they've resolved.

I'm curious too,.. or rather scared too. I have downloaded all the DLC but haven't dared to touch the quests. I do have the armor in my possession though. My game is unpatched sofar. I have downloaded the 1.01b patch but I don't dare to launch it.
Question: If I patch, can I then no longer load my savegame? But have to start all over again?.
Question: Is there really lots of people that have applied the 1.01b patch without problems? Can we hear from some of them please? I run Vista 64 premium, btw.

I have issues too with wardens keep. Its an odd issue though since the DLC loads and the dudes wagon is in my camp but he is nowhere to be found and the icon is missing on the map. I had accepted the quest prior to installing 1.01b and then after installing it I was playing fine and then my game randomly crashed. When I loaded the game back up I had to fix the DLC by using the force loading work around. Needless to say everything came back fine except for warden's keep. I haven't found a fix yet and am almost finished with this playthrough and would really love to get that taken care of before I stab the archdemon in the head...

My Shale was borked well before installing the patch - in fact, I installed the patch to see if that would fix the issue!
Which leads me to believe the "Can't Talk To Shale Or Else I'm transported Out of the Game World" bug is NOT patch related at all.

I had problems with the DLC first too, and I could solve it by starting the dragon age dlc service manually. It just keeps being turned off from time to time and I have to start it before entering the game, then everything works fine (except for a broken Shale as mentioned before here).

Simple fix uninstall/reinstall if your running a firewall block the updater. The geniuses at Bioware decided to make the update not work with the content modules.

And now my Warden's Keep has disappeared from the map despite being listed as active in my downloadable content. Amazing how they can unlearn something so simple. Never had one of premium NWN DLC modules mess up like this lot.
